They made our stay very special. They juggled a busy weekend so we could stay three nights instead of our scheduled one night stay. Great location, friendly and accommodating hosts, and lovely breakfasts. We have missed our tea and biscuit evenings in their kitchen/rec room, in front of the fire. Thanks to Tom O’Brien, I will forever root for the... More

We stayed a week in this excellent B&B. The hosts were very caring and helpful. The rooms were great and the continental breakfast was far superior to others we have sampled. The location of the Lodge is just less than one kilometre from the town of Cashel and sits in a lovely rural setting almost at the base of the... More

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is fantastic, very near to town and the Rock of Cashel. The Inn is an old restored farm building and the monastery and castle ruins within sight gave it a very special atmosphere. Our hosts were lovely and breakfast was very good. We were traveling with a baby and although they... More

My wife and I travel to Great Britain every year and each year we stay in B & B's. That said, Tom and Brid O'Brien have to be the most gracious hosts we have ever met. The property is immaculate, the rooms are superb and breakfast was more than adequate. We would highly recommend this property to friends and fellow... More

We spent 2 nights with Tom and Brid. They are amazing hosts and our rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet! There is a small camping ground on site, and we enjoyed talking to some of the campers about Hurling. The lodge is right under the Rock of Cashel and we were able to get up to it in under... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. Being between the two pieces of Irish history and within a few minutes walk of town made our time here fabulous. The room was very clean and the breakfast consisted of many options. The hosts were also very sweet. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to my... More

This lodge is perfectly located at the base of the Rock of Cashel and Hore Abbey. The rooms were very clean and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. It was a short walk into town for a pint at night. The whole landscape was breathtaking.

Our first 3 nights in Ireland - glorious start of a wonderful Ireland vacation. Everything was perfect - vacation place, amazing views, beautiful garden, convenient location (easy walk to Rock of Cashel and Hore Abbey and town), immaculately clean, comfortable and quiet, lovely continental breakfast, self catering common kitchen, and welcoming and gracious hosts. We were exhausted after trans-Atlantic flight,... More

A group of us who were cycling and hiking through Ireland stayed here, and what a beautiful place it was. My husband and I had stayed here a few years ago, and remembered how lovely it was, so we knew we would book it for our cycling trip. The setting is so beautiful and convenient, and the O'Brien's were unbelievably... More
