A hotel set in a beautiful Queen Anne styled building, built in 1730 as the residence of the Bishop of Cashel. Lovely gardens at the back of the hotel. There a footpath through the gardens that is a 5-minute walk to the Rock Of Cashel. It is a small family-run hotel with just 20 rooms, eight of which are in... More

We attended a wedding here in Oct 2014. We had dinner the night before in the restuarant, the bride and groom stayed there and we had drinks in the bar. It's a wonderful pace with great staff. Special thanks to Susan for making ths wedding for our friends so special and amazing and to Denis in the bar, the best... More

We love this place, it is about an hour and a half away from our home and though it is VERY historic it is also a very relaxing get away for us. Everyone is just great that work here, you can see they are like a family and many have been here for years. It isn't like a B&B to... More

First and foremost, we loved staying here. Our GPS couldn't seems to find it...so make sure you have a good solid map or grasp of direction. Upon arrival, it was obvious this was a true authentic experience. That being said, there were bits of carpet missing in the lobby, and some tears in the carpet, but who really cares. We... More

I attended a wedding in the Palace over the summer and my review is based on that experience. This is an outstanding family-run hotel that hasn't lost sight of the fundamentals....ambiance, good food and good service. The Palace came up trumps on all three and it is so gratifying to see that old Irish standards of hospitality live on in... More

We stayed here for one night whilst meeting a number of friends for dinner in Che Hans. Lovely setting and friendly staff. Our room was on second floor overlooking Main Street. No wifi, shower didn't work and some cobwebs on beams. It's one of those hotels where if an investment was made in the building you could have something special... More

After several not so flash B&B's with small rooms, this was just magnificent! Huge room, huge bed, huge bathroom, huge breakfast. Very short stroll to the middle of the town or you can have dinner on site at the Buttery Restaurant.

Our itinerary only had us spend one night here, but that was not long enough; I would like to stay here at least two nights. We had an upstairs room with a view of the church ruins from both our bedroom and bathroom. I loved everything about the hotel, and the grounds are lovely. We walked to the church ruins... More

This was to be our "splurge" hotel. We wanted to stay in a castle and this was the closest we could get to that type of accommodation within our price range for our travel dates. The outside is very impressive and the proximity to the Rock of Cashel is fantastic. We had rooms with views of the Rock. While I... More

Having travelled across the world and all over Ireland. I take great pride in experiencing a gem of a place like this hotel. My Girlfriend and I stopped off in Cashel for 2 nights before we made our trip to Cape Clear in Cork to visit family. As we approached the hotel, we were impressed by the rustic and magical... More
