We stopped in for a beer and decided to stay for dinner. It was early when we arrived so had a good chat with the bar lady and chef. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company of the staff. Prices were average, going on what we have seen in Ireland so far. Didn't spend a night here so can not... More

We went to the restaurant in the hotel for dinner. The food was ok but the service was awful. It was difficult to get someone to come to the table and then it took multiple trips for each item we ordered or needed - a beer & a glass of wine arrived 15 minutes apart, a menu 20 minutes later,... Considering the restaurant is so good, you would think the owners would take a little more pride in the hotel. Don't stay here unless you just need a bed to sleep on for one night as you pass through town. Otherwise, book yourself into a nicer, newer, cleaner hotel. It will be a more comfortable experience.

We stopped in for dinner after a long drive and walk around Cashel. The pub wasn't very busy, but that changed rather quickly! Our food was delicious and I could eat the same thing every night and die happy! And... The bartender was very pleasing on the eyes!

We stopped in for lunch after our trip to the Rock of Cashel and on a local's recommendation. It was a Sunday so not much was open in the town and this was pretty much our only choice. We are glad we went because we had the BEST burgers we have had in a very long time. They were delicious!!... More

My husband and I ate here Saturday night and was so very disappointed . The menu looked great when we read it outside hotel. I ordered fish and chips ,nice batter shame there was not much fish inside it. I also had a chowder , worse one I ate while travelling around Ireland , my husband tried it and it... More

I recently eat at this restaurant with my friend and our two young daughters, the service and lack of welcome we received made for a terrible experience. Having found this restaurant on menupages and read that it was child friendly I figured it to be the perfect restaurant to feed us all at 17:30 in the day. It soon became... More

Best bacon-hamburger around. We stopped in around 5:30 for dinner. The menu in the window looked reasonable and included sandwiches and hamburgers under €9. The dinner menu inside was different and higher priced, so we just ordered hamburgers and chips. The hamburgers were huge; served with bacon, cheese and sauce. Great chips and onion rings, all for €8 each.

Its a fascinating building right on the Cashel main street, and we were looking for a bar / restaurant for tea and snacks after visiting the Rock of Cashel. Service was so-so to say the least (although in fairness I am probably comparing to US standards rather than Irish), and we had to go to the counter to get our... More

We stayed at Kearney's in Sept 2013. We had not booked ahead but were able to book a room by just walking in off the street. The reception we got from the young man at reception was dismal. He then moved to the bar area to serve our drinks. again the service was awful. He was the most miserable person... More
