Stayed for two and half weeks, whilst working in Clonmel, and can say without fear of contradiction, its the best place in Clonmel. Quite and lovely surroundings. Great staff, classic rooms and great breakfast. The bar food is amazing and not very expensive. If you are looking for a classy, quite and quality place to stay

Raheen House Hotel, is an absolutely beautiful country house hotel in a beautiful location in Clonmel that is located only minutes walk from Clonmel town. My son got married here and I just cannot praise it enough. The gardens are absolutely stunning and we got some amazing photos, the food was gorgeous and everyone was happy with their choices, the... An absolutely beautiful country house hotel that is located only minutes walk from Clonmel town. We have eaten here, got married here and stayed here and I just cannot praise it enough. The gardens are absolutely beautiful in Summer. The food is out of this world, really - the steak is the nicest we have ever tasted anywhere. Likewise breakfast... More

A group of us stayed there for one night, arrived mid afternoon for afternoon tea, had dinner and breakfast the next day. Afternoon tea was a treat! Beautiffuly made delicate sandwiches, biscuits and scones for the mid layer and delicious sweets, cheescakes, roulade, swiss rolls, tarts - all homemade for the grand finale. Sitting back in a beautifully comfortable drawing... More

Stayed here recently for a getaway weekend. From its excellent welcome to its old world charm, everything was just about perfect. This hotel could certainly teach a thing or three to other small hotels about service and attention to detail. We were made most welcome and nothing was a problem ,the hotels " lived in" style only added to its... More

I recently attended a wedding at this exquisite hotel, not my first time! The staff were truly wonderful and friendly. The food was delightful. Service was spot on. Toilets were spotless. Just one little flaw..... Went to bar in function room..no bartender! Went to public bar.... no bartender. I asked the Manager if it was self service. He apologised and... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying for a weekend at Raheen House with some cousins. Our stay was very pleasureable. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and I felt very much looked after for the whole weekend, nothing was any trouble to them. We had bar food on Fri night, homemade soup + brown bread in the cute... More

I was fortunate enough that the college was giving me this hotel for my clinical placement for 2 weeks. At first, I didn't put much expectation on a B&B + Hotel place in a small town, but this place has really made me feel homely with a great classical bedroom setup. I did have some problem with the shower for... More

I booked a room with a double bed on expedia for 65 euros. On check out I got charged 99 euros because there we were a couple. That makes 34 euros for her breakfast sausage and mushroom. Surely a double room is just that! Traps for first timers at this place.

RaheenHotel, Public Relations Manager at Raheen House, responded to this review

Good Evening Rex, With regard to your recent stay at Raheen House Hotel we felt obliged to reply to properly represent the situation. As you are aware yours was a double room but booked for a single occupant. The difference in price of €34 represents the cost for an additional person staying the night and also the breakfast. It was... More

Had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights at Raheen House, we arrived on Sunday afternoon and were shown to our room. It was one of the nicest rooms I have ever had the pleasure of staying in, it was like stepping back in time, the four poster bed was cosy and comfortable the decor was delicious, the ensuite neat...
