I stayed here for one night recently. It's great value for money. The breakfast is fabulous and the staff are amazing. They are so friendly and went out of their way for me. The hotel downstairs is grubby but it is a nightclub so I wasnt that surprised. My room was fine. Clean sheets & clean room. Its quiet too.... More

I stayed there for the one night and was taken aback be the whole place. When you spend money to stay somewhere, you tend to expect certain things, 1/Clean sheets, (which have been changed since the last person, who left hair under the pillow and at the bottom of the bed between the sheets,) 2/ Not a completely useless TV,... Great hotel if your just going on the beer, otherwise id forget it. Fortunately its exactly why we were going to the hotel.Breakfast was just the trick after a feed of beer the night before.Mad craic, simple as that.

Stayed here last weekend, the place is run down, badly in need of renovation. Their web site shows a very false picture. Also if you fancy going to sleep before the night club closes, forget it. One of our group who managed to get hold of the manager to complain about the noise from the night club was verbally attacked... More

I was staying over in clonmel for work so was looking forward to a nice bath and chilling out. when i got to my room first impression was that it was nicely decorated however... More

I happened to stay for one night at Hearns hotel while in Clonmel. I have stayed in hotels around Ireland regularly and this one is the worst I've stayed in in a long time. My room was at the front of hotel on top floor. After checking in and getting my room key I made my way to the room.... More

It is such a shame a centrally located Hotel is let down by decor and noise. The staff are very friendly, but the bedrooms are very basic with little amenities. The carpet as you walk in from the car park certainly has seen better days, and the bedrooms need more attention too to cleanliness. Clonmel was a short base for... More

once a good solid middle order kind of place, with poorly washed glasses, gaffer tap on the torn sofa, sepulchral lighting and music bashing through the walls from its own nightclub, it's time for a remake/refit/rethink.

Just passing through Clonmel we decided to overnight and see the town. We chose Hearns as it was central with parking. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful but there it ends. The room was small and not very clean, cups stained etc.,window would not stay open on one of the hottest nights, had to prop open with coathanger.
