Oh god I couldn't speak highly enough of this hotel. Lots of work goes into planning a wedding and this hotel gets an 11 out 10 for helping us out in every way possible. Even if ur staying in clonmel on business or pleasure , the cleanliness, fab rooms will not beaten on value for money. Best hotel I've ever had... More

Rooms have metered electric use for room ...couldn't figure out what was going on because never saw it in a hotel..I mean I see the sense of it as electric like everything else is expensive in Ireland..but once got over that found other issues as the view outside the window was that of a gypsy encampment which I thought was... The room was excellent, the size good, the equipment ample, and it is one of a few hotels I have visited with enough power points to charge a phone, laptop and tablet without plugging out the tv. My room was quite modern, well equipped and very clean. I ate in the bar and the food was more than sufficient. The... More

A business man's nightmare! Nice room, but a gypsy camp adjacent to the hotel car park, complete with DOG KENNELS, meant that we got zero sleep! The dogs barked all night. This is the true benefit of Trip Advisor - how else would you know this.

My partner and I visited this hotel on for our annual bridge congress. We found it to be really lovely and while we didn't stay this year, next year we will definatley book in. On the first night we ate in the bar, which was ok. The second night we ate in the restaurant and it was much better. We... More

I decided to have lunch one afternoon and told the carvery opened at 12.30pm. At 12.40pm the shutters were eventually opened to reveal what I can describe as a disappointing display. I chose roast lamb, which was the tiniest joint I've seen in an Hotel carvery. The chef who wore gloves handled the meat as he cut it, I can't... More

Stayed last Sun night at the hotel for my son's birthday. On learning this the nice guy at reception upgraded us to a suite. We had a nice lunch while they placed an extra bed in the room for my son. He was made to feel very special and we really appreciated that. The best thing about this hotel is... More

We had my sisters hen party in the Clonmel Park a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and the food was great, staff very nice and then went to a gig in the ballroom after which was excellent. The staff really looked after us and my sister had a great night.

Recently tried the Clonmel Park Hotel for bar food one evening and was very disappointed. I ordered the Sirloin Steak with chips and it was served luke warm and being honesty, it wasn't the nicest steak I ever tired - it was a bit tasteless. The staff were friendly enough, but a bit slow which is why food was served... More
