Our family stayed two nights amidst the flooding in Ireland. Hotel's one elevator was knocked out in the flood. Charming old property with a lot of personality. Owner John ___ was lovely. Breakfasts were grand and the server staff fro same were excellent. Bar food was way above average and the bar staff were very accommodating. Great WiFi and great... More

Just returned from a family weekend away at this hotel. It was a family gathering with grand parents, parents and kids. On arrival our bags were brought up to our room and then we were asked if we wanted tea, not realising that 5 mins later a large pot of tea and fruitcake was brought to the room. Normal practice... We stayed here a few nights on our way from Dublin to Kinsale. The hotel itself is lovely. The hotel may feel a bit dated, but it adds to its charm. We had a king room that overlooked the garden and the river. The other view is of the mountains so you can't really go wrong! The pool and workout... More
