On my way to the Dingle Food Festival, I stopped at Brighton House for the night. It is a lovely, nearly 200 year old house, decorated in mostly period pieces. Lighting and bathroom fixtures have been updated, as well as having a flat-screen TV on the wall. Having read the two bad reviews, I must tell you that if you're... More

What an amazing place to stay. The house is almost 200-years-old and if you love old buildings and architecture you'll love Brighton House. Our room was very large and the furniture was all in keeping with the age of the building and the décor. The house was very clean, the bed comfortable and the en-suite was large. There is a... More

I stayed with 2 other adults on the top floor. The beds were VERY comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. The owners are just fantastic people recommending sites, taxi service and stores in the area. I loved this historic building and plan to be back again in 2015.

We had a wonderful stay here as part of our trip around Ireland. Our room was large, quiet and very comfortable with the only problem being a slight "old building" aroma which is probably to be expected in a 200 year old house. Pat was a wonderful host and his breakfast was excellent. Great value!

Stayed with wife and two friends in a single triple room. Room was comfortable although carrying our bags up the stairs was a bit of a pain. Very high ceilings improve the impression. The premises are in good shape, although some of the bathroom fixtures need adjusting - nothing unhygienic, just a loose faucet and a tricky flushing handle. The... More

Stayed here for one night as a group of 3 couples. Rooms were much larger than usual for B&B,very quaintly decorated. Pat was very welcoming and had a great sense of humor. We felt quite comfortable here. Great nights sleep, very quiet. A generous Irish breakfast. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for the last two nights of a three week trip to Ireland, wish we could have stayed longer. Inside the house has a lovely 'earlier age' feel but lacks nothing for comfort or convenience. Placed within easy walking distance of Clonmel town centre and with secure parking. Breakfast was everything we could have wished for.

My husband and I plus another couple spent 3 wonderful nights at Brighton House. The owner, Pat, and his wife run a very warm and inviting B&B. Pat gave us great advice on a place to eat supper that was easily within walking distance. Also was helpful on the local pubs. Our rooms was clean, large and full of neat... More

We stayed here one night the beginning of October. We arrived around noon on a Sunday after a long flight from the US to Shannon and then a bus from Limerick. I had emailed them a few weeks before to tell them of our early arrival since check-in is at 3 pm. We got a taxi from the bus/train station... More
