What can I say about Innisfree house? It's absolutely gorgeous! The room my husband and I stayed in had a bathroom en suite. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, with antique furniture and a real Edwardian feel. The bathroom was small-ish but the shower was fairly easy to operate. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious. The home... More

We spent a pleasant night at Innisfree House. Perfect for our needs for a quick visit to family. Not too expensive, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning and friendly staff. Within walking distance to town but far enough out so you won't be disturbed by the noise. It's decor is Olde Worlde, chic, boutique style. Don't expect mod-cons.... More

Awful place. Window couldn't be closed in freezing temperatures. Dog barked all night. Shower from the 1950s!. Toilet roll holder had a piece of copper to hold on the paper. Fixtures loose. Had tried to cancel a week before due to change of requirements but they were charging 70% cancellation fee... that was a week before we were due to... More

When we first booked in I wondered if I'd made a mistake! The room was so old fashioned and at first glance I hated it. We stayed for two night and I can't explain why it grew on me but it did. It was spotlessly clean and had ample wardrobe space and everything we needed. It was a lovely big... More

Recently had the pleasure of staying for an overnight stay. A warm greeting awaited us in tastefully maintained period residence with a lot of period features. Room 9 was a very modern, clean and comfortable room. This room was bigger than some of the 4* hotel rooms I have stayed in. Very pleasant staff who had an excellent knowledge of... More

This guesthouse is really very special. Great location near the town but yet quiet at night. We had a lovely room with four poster bed and antique furniture. It was very comfortable and warm. We got a warm welcome and felt right at home immediately. This guesthouse has all the mod cons combined with old world charm. The staff were... More

Stayed for one night, have to say its a beautiful house, fully furnished in the edwardian style of the house, with fabulous features like the quaint waitress in edwardian attire, the room was lovely, the breakfast was top notch, and I would highly reccomend it

We stayed here for three nights last week. I have to say we loved the place. The whole experience was so different. It was our first time in Dundalk and the fact that we loved the town helped. The location was ideal within walking distance of the town. If we return to Dundalk this is where we would wish to... More

Innisfree House is a lovely place to stay. The owners are very friendly and fun to talk to, the rooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable, and breakfast is incredible! The wifi wasn't the best and the parking lot is very small, but the price and quality of service can't be beat. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely... More

This is a charming Edwardian house (1901) with incredible staff. The house has large guest rooms and a place to relax by a warm fire. Our experience was first class all the way and yet the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent with much variety. Wonderful value.
