we stayed one night 18th july and the lift didn't work. the stairwells and general feel a bit run down but nice people and clean. it is the centre of town so a bit noisy but conversly lots of pubs nearby so not stuck in a hotel bar in the middle of nowhere.

Hmmm well lets start off by saying its not the Ritz I booked at short notice as my B&B choice was fully booked. Tiny bit over priced as no Night club was on the evening I arrived so in fact as far as I could make out place was dead. Rooms bit old looking but roomy. A noticed saying no... More

Staff very helpful and friendly, but beware very noisy at night (not the staff). Few problems receptionist apologised lift out of order caught fire day before; no tv reception in bedroom; bedroom very warm and stuffy, had to leave window open at night which didn't help with the noise, 3am still people outside in street singing and shouting. Hotel/public Bar... More

We stayed for one night and the hotel was fine, worth the money bed and breakfast. The hotel is in the middle of Dundalk, near restaurants and traditional bars. Hayley on reception had good local knowledge, which we needed as it was our first time in Dundalk. She advised us on the best places to eat. Breakfast was good full... More

I have been staying at this hotel every week since last October for one night per week, one two week period and two single weeks. My first impression was not good....in fact I wanted to get out and never see the place again. However, it really is a little gem, if you can get past the very thread bare appearance.... More

Stayed three nights here in May, reception only seemed to be staffed at random times so not a good start. The whole place is dated and a bit run down but on the whole was clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable but the first nights sleep was ruined by the nearby Cathederal bell which chimed every 1/4 of an hour... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night recently while in the area visiting family. Central location with ample parking although feels a bit exposed. Girl in reception was very friendly and did advise us the hotel would be noisy due to the nightclub. Little did we realise how noisy!! We eventually got to sleep around 2.30am which was annoying after a... More

We stayed Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May. We were checked in by a very bubbly and friendly Receptionist. I got the impression this is a family run Hotel as we were 'introduced' to a cousin and her Mammy too. The rooms are spotlessly clean and quite well appointed. Our Double room also had a single bed in it so... More
