Stayed here Saturday night. Almost everything about this hotel is terrible. From checking in to checking out was horrible experience. The halls are grubby and horrible smell. The door into our room had marks where someone tried to break in.The screws around the lock were hanging out. In the room it was very basic. The bathroom was also in very poor... More

Stayed in October for a graduation and have to say was disappointed. I have stayed in B&B's in Dundalk before but opted for a hotel this time round and regret the decision. The location was perfect. Right beside all the best bars in the town. The car park was right beside the entrance as well which was very convenient. The... More

Stayed for one night last Friday night with two others when attending a sporting event in the town. The accomodation is dated in terms of decoration but the triple room is very suitable for 3 adults and the beds are very comfortable. as the hotel is in the niddle of the town there isn't much to view. The Hotel does... More

We have many many times over the years stayed at the Imperial Hotel in Dundalk, even favouring it over newer hotels as the location, rooms and food were excellent in our view. Not so any more-We arrived at the hotel in August not having pre booked as we normally would as it was a last minute decision to travel to... More

Stayed here for one night recently - last time we stayed here was 3 years ago. There is free, limited parking across the road. You will be given a small card on check-in which you hand to the car park attendant after check-out so you won't be charged for parking. The reception area was pleasant and nicely decorated for Halloween.... More

Jacky at reception couldn't do enough for us but unfortunately that did fix all the issue's. Found two small bugs in the room, bed sheet was ripped and well the noise was something else. Between the nightclub, disco bar and people hanging around outside till about 5 ish the noise didn't stop until about 5. To be fair the hotel... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for one night, we stood at reception for at least 20 minutes before we were greeted by anyone...when the girl came she was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very outdated and bog standard but do the job if you are looking somewhere reasonably priced to stay, the hotel is a very... More

Most disappointing hotel I have ever stayed in!!! Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for our anniversary and by the first night strongly considered staying in a different hotel! The telly did not work, the WiFi did not work. We were told there was a dj in the bar on the Friday night and when we went to the bar... More

Dundalk's popular town center hotel convenient for business and social functions. Could do with a bit of touch up to bring it up to date in terms of interior decor and uplift. Weekend discos are popular with decent pub and bar food in abundance.

Unfortunately this hotel could not be rated as value for money. Whilst the staff were most friendly, homely and helpful and the breakfast was good, the rooms were of very poor standard. TV's didn't work, Carpets were worse for wear and looked filthy. bathroom tiles around bath were discoloured. The bathroom soap dispenser had fallen off the wall and was... More
