This was such a memory making stop for us. Didn't feel like driving onto Kenmare at end of day, what a fabulous recommendation from the Information Centre to stay here! Room was charming, clean and had lovely comfy bed. And among the best scrambled eggs with smoked salmon I had in Ireland! We had lovely conversations with our hosts who... More

Nice and cosy place, warm and welcoming managers. My wife loved it so much that she asked me the difference between a B&B an a 4 stars hotel. I couldn't explain... The house is away from the main road, so very quiet and a parking is available.

The views from our bedroom and dining room were awesome, there is a beautiful garden with breath taking views also. Our stay here was for one night, two weeks ago during the heat wave, the three of us would have loved to have had more time here. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated, the beds were comfortable and sleep quality was... More

What a fantastic location!! A narrow drive upward to get to the B&B. Wonderful views out over the lake. A gorgeous garden. The breakfast room is huge with great views. Our room was enormous, clean and comfortable. There is a small, cozy sitting room next to the breakfast room. Kathleen's breakfast was very good also. But my wife and I... More

We stayed at Carraig Dubh House for two nights and are glad we found it for explorations of West Cork. It is set on a hillside just five minutes' drive from Glengarriff, with lovely pastures and woods surrounding. Our room was very large and had a beautiful view down the hillside and out onto the bay - before breakfast each... More

The B&B is located on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake surrounded by hills. The most stunning view we had from our room and from the living room where breakfast was served. Mr and Mrs Connolly were most hospitable. We weren't sure whether we would drive the Ring of Kerry, so we asked our hosts. Mr Connolly recommended us the... More

The Connolly family operate this bed and breakfast. It is high on the hill overlooking the bay. Our room had a post card view. A couple we met at breakfast the next morning were using vouchers under a travel plan. This B & B for them was by far the best one visited. We thought it was excellent value at... More
