Very unsatisfied with this Inn. We (family of three adults and a student) were planning to travel around the Beara Peninsula the next day and this was to be our starting point. We walk straight into the bar and restaurant which is also the reception and are given two keys. 1. The floor in the house was dirty. There were... More

Perrin Inn is situated very conviniently in about 2 mins walking distance from the village of Glengarriff. The owner and the staff were friendly, chatty and the food was delicious. Full Irish breakfast made a job for most of the day, generously served. We had few pints in the evening and enjoyed the rare atmosphere of the pub, with country... More

Always choose to stay here when in the area. Excellent value for 30 euro each. Fabulous breakfast. Lovely food whenever you want it. Comfortable bed and never had a problem. Sky, flat screen TV and tea making facilities in my room. Village shops 2 minutes away and we had great music on the Saturday we were there. Staff friendly, Great... More

It was by far not the best B&B. Preferrably take one of the family run houses. But if you plan to drive the Beara Peninsula Glengarriff is the perfect starting point. The place itself is good enough for one night. Nothing special, but nonetheless quite cheap. You get a bed, a shower and a breakfast. Don't expect too much, so... More

Booked the Perrin inn for one night....disaster....the carpet in the entrance to 'cottage' was very dirty....as was the carpet in the bedrooms. The shower was filthy couldn't use it. Dead insects on window sills....hairs were in shower on doors and floors. I made a video I just couldn't believe my eyes. Disgusting!!!!

Just spent a night at The Perrin Inn, formerly the Cottage Bar. To say it was disgusting is an understatement. My friend and I were sickened to the core. The first thing that hit us was the dank stale smell of smoke then the filthy worn carpets with stains that made your stomach churn. Our bedroom carpet was bleak, dead... More

All going for this place is the location, even though competitively priced, the standard of room was poor, the beds and bed linen haven't been upgraded in many years, the rooms and bathrooms were clean though. What was most surprising was the service of breakfast the following morning, it was like it was their 1st day ever serving breakfast, forgetting... More

The staff could not have been more helpful to us . The rooms are basic but adequate. Tea making facilities can be ordered if needed to avoid clutter. They are made up of 4 rooms in each of a number of cottages. The breakfast was excellent and the bar was very reasonably priced. It is centrally located and an ideal... More

I stayed in Aug 2013. The bar was full of big tables and chairs like you would see in a club house, the bar is where everyone had their meals, service was ok. Our room was so small, it was like a box room, no wardrobe to hang your clothes. The bed was so uncomfortable i never slept a wink,... More

stayed there in 2 rooms (2 adults, 2 kids) in early August 2013. It was a cheaper B&B compared to other stays we had during our trip. The people there were friendly and kind. The rooms clearly need refurbishment, especially the beds. Did not sleep very well. It could have been cleaner, our room smelled from smoking too, but bedsheets... More
