We stayed with Alan and Margaret halfway around a Ring of Kerry Cycle. We were very well looked after between us having the bikes to look after to giving us a brolly when we were headn for dinner. The rooms were perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was lovely as well. We were very well looked after. Thanks Alan &... More

We had a reservation for three beds and got four. Not so much space left in the room but nice and quiet and with a bathroom that could fit for wheelchair access. Feels more like a guest house than a bb. Convenient parking on the grounds. Good breakfast and good coffee. They have a restaurant in the breakfast area but... More

The room was very small and bathroom was tiny, Unfortunately not very clean and filthy, there was dust on skirting boards, shelves, tv (no remote control), carpet under the bed was not hoovered for long time as there was a lot of dust and some rubbish there. The most disappointing was the "restaurant" - it is much to big word... More

Our family, a party of 12 which included 2 small children, stayed for one night. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was amazing and the owners friendly and helpful. I especially liked that the accommodations were very child friendly. Thank you Margaret!

Quaint Inn that has turn of the century warmth and charm. Great location that's a short 10 min walk into the city center with it's numerous restaurants and pubs. Definitely order the breakfast at the Inn, top notch! Areas nearby have a plethora of outdoors activities that the Inn owners were very gracious in offering history and information about. 2... More

Extremely friendly welcome, very comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, great location. 100% would stay again. Only problem was poor wifi, but that's probably a good thing. A stones throw from the town centr.

The Old Cable is a perfectly adequate place to stay. Basic but clean and comfortable enough, if a little tired in places. There was a friendly welcome on arrival and unlike some other reviews, the room did have tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Although the Old Cable seems to be described everywhere as a B&B (even on... More

Warm welcome, grand breakfast, room was small but it catered fine for the one night we were staying. Views not the best from the place, but a short walk down the hill to the main street, shops, pubs and beach.
