Spent a lovely weekend there recently and enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was a problem. Room was very comfortable with a great sea view, bathroom small but then so are we. Restaurant with its food and views was excellent loads of things to do in surrounding area, we will... More

Stayed at this inn for 2 nights early July. The inn is perfectly located by the beach front and right next to a golf course. The inn is located about a 15/20 minute walk from the village centre so a car is useful. The village is lovely and picturesque and has a couple of shops and a range of bars/pubs... More

Our night at the Smugglers Inn was excellent! We arrived weary after a big day, and were given room 10 which was large and airy, and overlooking the beautiful bay. Dinner was lovely (altho not cheap), and brekkie was great :-) Thoroughly recommend it!

After a minor mix-up we were given rooms 10 and 11, which were wonderful, overlooking the bay. The only room complaint was water pressure in the shower-minimal at best. The staff were all very nice and accommodating (let us check in early to shower, change after all-night flight, brought cook, server in early two consecutive days to give us breakfast... More

Restuarant great tho limited menu and expensive - worth the money tho for a treat. View fantastic and staff freindly BUT ------- Room very tired, crackd ensuit floor and smaller than average shower. Taps and shower door wrong way and awkward. Cooking smell and kitchen exaust fan noise all evening. Check your room before taking it. Not worth the 4... More

The title probably says it all. Amazing hospitality, warmth, comfort and excellent cooking. I think also pretty good value for money. The setting is perfect too with a world class golf course just 2 minutes walk away and hardly another building in sight. A broad strand of beach to enjoy and all the sea air your lungs can manage. Cant... More

My husband and I booked an overnight stay last Wednesday and were delighted with our choice of accommodation, a beautiful setting right on the beach. We received a lovely welcome and given a very nice room (really comfy bed) next to our room was a lounge area with sky tv and overlooking the sea. All the staff were very helpful... More

Let me start by saying Smugglers Inn is the first place I have stayed where I felt truly relaxed. We stayed for one night and I really didn't want to go. I was even happy just to sit in the TV room with the beautiful view. The food was amazing, I had my first lobster. The a la carte menu... More

We stayed here for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to do a practice run of Coomakista for the Ring of Kerry Cycle. From when we arrived the staff were great, really nice and very helpful too. What a view - it's absolutely breathtaking and to boot we had brialliant weather which meant that the sea and the... More

I stayed for two nights on a very good groupon offer (€85 total for two nights b&b for two people) our bedroom was fine, a little bit on the outdated side, (we saw other fabulous bedrooms before we checked out, superior rooms that were fab) but our room was perfectly ok, plus we had a sea view! which was to...
