On first impressions of the Hotel, It appears to be closed down, there is no obvious greeting to guests or customers looking for a bite to eat or even knowing how to get to the hotel entrance. It is dull, dark and in need of some TLC We had some food in the bar, it was over prices but tasty,... More

Me and 10 other girls stayed here 3 weeks ago for my hen and I could not say enough good things about this hotel. From the minute we arrived we were made feel welcomed, we were all instantly very impressed with the staff and the hotel itself. Upon arrival we were very impressed with our rooms, they were nice and... More

Stayed here the last weekend in June as part of a hen night on the Saturday night. Reception staff friendly. Ideal location in the centre of town. Room was big and spacious but no air conditioning so it was hot hot hot in room. Room was at the front of hotel but by the time we were going to bed... More

Really handy to everything as right in town centre, lovely breakfast and even better steak in the Princes Bar, asked for a quiet room and was not disapointed, room was very large, very tidy and very quiet. The staff where very efficient, polite and helpful. Would go back tomorrow.

This is an old hotel. The rooms are small, and in the summer, quite stuffy. We opened the window to get some air and the room filled with flies - not exaggerating. We were on the second floor so it was a bit of a surprise. The location was good for walking about town, and the staff was very helpful.... More

I swear this place is ran by monkeys. After going into the main restaurant area we received no welcome off waiting staff. We had to fathom what was on for food ourselves. We ordered sandwiches although it was only 10.30 in the morning. There was no breakfast menus around to look at and neither were we informed! We were asked... More

Very central hotel with a lively bar. The hotel has a fair size car park that is free. Good bar food menu, alot to choose from. Breakfast was till 10.30am and 11am Sat/Sun. Music in the bar most nights with night club on wed-sun. Our room was ok, a little small, but it had air con and was very quite.... More

I have stayed at the prince a total of 5 times and always loved the location and the service... My second last stay was a negative one but because I was with a good friend for her birthday we just mentioned it I had upgraded the room for a extra £25 for fresh fruit and water in the room with...
