After leaving it a bit later day before I was onto it early getting somewhere in vacinity I wanted and although first venue hadn't a vacancy she rang ahead to this place. Eileen was usual warm irish host, eager to share my experiences and helpful in suggestions of what was to fill my last day of 6 driving right around... More

stayed for just one night en route from east to west coast - Eileen is a very warm & friendly lady. She has a lovely home, our bedroom & en-suite were spotless & the breakfast delicious. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night en-route to Dublin. The only minus is it is a bit tricky to find - yes, there is a sign off the main road, but the B&B is a long way down, in fact we thought we had missed it. It is well worth finding this B&B it is extremely comfortable with large rooms... More

Corraclor Lodge is located of the main road just north of Athlone. It's very quiet and in a walkable area. Eileen is a wonderful hostess, very welcoming, and our breakfasts delicious. We actually stayed twice, 1st on our way north to Donegal & again on our was back south a few days later.

Eileen is a great host, friendly, warm and hospitable and her B&B is spotless. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she serves up a fantastic full Irish breakfast. She knows the local area really well and is able to recommend all sorts of different things to do. If you want to know what Irish hospitality is like then... More

Over two years and twenty different B&B`s in Ireland, this is the one place that will stay with me forever. This B&B was very clean, cozy and the food excellent. Location great, rural which I like. I cannot find the words to describe how Eileen made me feel while I was there. I was part of the family. I felt... More

The B&B is just a few mins from the hudson bay hotel where we attended a wedding and was a very affordable alternative to staying in the hotel. Its a little tricky to find but the directions given were spot on. The breakfast included was really nice with a wide choice of fry, cerals or yogurt with plenty of coffee... More

Having a bossy controling sister in law and not wanting to have any more contact with her than was strictly necessary ,I looked for an alternative venue for 2 nights to attend my nieces wedding. Well if ever I wished for somewhere that ticked all the boxes it was Corraclor Lodge. Eileen told me afterwards that she spends 1 full... More

Stayed here while attending a conference at the nearby Hodson Bay hotel. Lovely B&B in a nice quiet area. The room was very comfortable, lovely big bathroom and nice breakfast. The host Eileen is very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice B&B. Not that cheap but very friendly. The lady who runs it clearly loves young children, and nothing was too much trouble. Just what Irish B&Bs should be, but often aren't. Not that large a place either, so there is no 'factory feel' about it. Note that the location on Google maps at the moment is wrong. The... More
