We've just returned from a four night stay in this hotel and were impressed by the cleanliness of the whole hotel including our room which was also spacious. The free Wifi was available not only in the public areas but also in our room (25).

We stayed here so that we could go to some pubs for live traditional music and it didn't disappoint. The Rathbaun just a few doors up had a great band, Ceolan, playing flutes, clarinets, guitars, singing and the tambourine. The room was a decent size and had tea and coffee, cups, soap and shampoo. The breakfast in the morning was... More

We have just arrived back after a four night stay in The Imperial and have to say we were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The whole place was spotlessly clean, with lovely rooms and very helpful staff. This is the type of hotel that is used by people touring Ireland and most usually stop over for 2,3 or 4... More

I was in Lisdoonvarna last weekend for a conference and staying in a guesthouse across the street, wasn't anything fancy. But, 100* better than this place. I had a friend from East Clare wanting to stay the night and as he'd be arriving later, I booked the room for him. Upon entering the building it seemed busy/ cluttered with people... More

We stayed here on our way from Galway to Dingle. My cousin choose this place because it was close to the Cliffs of Moher and a good price. The hotel itself is well kept and classy. Our room was really nice and had a beautiful view overlooking a field. The location is wonderful, only minutes to the pubs and grocery... More

Stayed here with coach trip for 4 days and will never be back. Reception staff had the worst attitude i have ever experienced. Had to sit in dining room with windows and glass roof making it extremely hot and uncomfortable. Asked to be moved but told no other tables available (even although there were other empty tables in the other... More

Had an AWFUL experience here. The rooms were freezing cold and even worse the SHOWERS and BATHS were cold too! If you're VERY lucky you'll get a luke warm shower. In addition, the food was terrible, disgusting to be honest! The soup was alight actually, but the restaurant seems to think that fish is vegetarian, and then they get angry... More
