My Friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights in april, and still remember our time there with pleasure. The place is super cute, the people very helpful, and it has been an amazing experience for us.

I stayed here with some friends for a weekend. The hostel was cheap and basic but ideal for what we needed 👍🏻 reception were helpful and facilities were clean, with extra towels if required. Also we weren't hunted out straight away at checkout time which was ideal after a heavy night before.

First time in a hostel! !! Must admit a bit apprehensive, booked a 6 bedroom dorm for my family, was very basic but for what we needed for one night was fine. . 3 sets of bunkbends plus on suite . ..staff friendly use of kitchen facilities was excellent was able to bring in own food and prepare although we... We stayed for one night as a family of 4 in a bedroom with own bathroom. Once we opened the door to our room a moldy&moist smell hit us and even though we opened the windows immediately it never went away. The bathroom is old and could use an update so could the carpet. After being outside all day in... More

We booked here on a whim for a short (two-night) family break and were happy with what we got. It did, as they say, what it said on the tin. It was a no-frills hostel, cosy and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. We were two adults and four children (aged 6 to 14) and took a family room which... More

My friends and I had been doing our Gaisce Gold award which involved walking 100km. For many of us this trip was our first experience staying in hostels. Our plan was to visit the Aran island but due to weather we could not go! It was by chance we ended up staying here. The hostel took us in at very... More

Stayed with a group of 10 others. Staff were very friendly and provided useful information about the locality. Property was a bit dated. Our only fault was with the cold shower in our room. I'd recommend the hostel!

Nice place, the staff is really nice. It is a bit lost in town and kind of lonely in winter. The rooms are okay, good for a group of friends going to the Burren. The self catering kitchen is nice and you can use a big walk-in fridge. Breakfast is good. Wifi signal is poor and only reaches the common... More

Hi Olvido Thank you for your kind words about our team here – I have passed this compliment on. The season really only kicks off now, to be honest, we close in the winter. Our rooms are large and perfect for families and groups. Our fridge is very popular and we do have ample space to cook. Breakfast is certainly... More

We arrived at the hostel to meet colleagues who were stay, we had booked into a B&B as we were not aware they had female only dorms. The friendly staff soon set us straight & got us a clean, comfortable room which we shared with 2 lovely American sisters. Are whole stay was good, bus stops outside the hostel, 5... More

Dear Hannon Family Thank you for your review – indeed our female dorms would be possibly one of our most popular offering - thanks for your compliment on our staff, which I have passed onto them – I have passed this compliment on. Yes I agree it is handy that the bus stops near the hostel. We have some great... More
