Stayed here for two nights so that we could eat at a local restaurant in the area. Nice big rooms, very good value, decent dinner, but what really made our stay special was the genuinely friendly service. From reception to the restaurant and the always smiling Ali, this place makes you feel very comfortable. They are all doing an excellent... More

Stayed for two nights on our trip around the area. Not the best rooms of the places we stayed but the service and atmosphere compels me to give them a higher rating. Excellent choices for a vegetarian at Breakfast time and Richard was very helpful in getting me something nice for dinner after I was not too keen on anything... More

Went there for a school trip and it was very satisfactory. We were given a 3 course meal every night and all the staff were very tolerant of us. Nice enough there. Have sports facilities. Economy Holiday. Cliffs of Moher very close.

Service here is excellent and the staff are helpful and welcoming. The building is an 1960's idea of what a castellated manor might look like. Not to my taste but the rooms were large and the bathroom good. The location is not terribly convenient as Lisdoonvarna is perhaps a 25 minute walk along a narrow country road and the hotel... More

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. The service and the personal are really nice. They were helpful, kind. This sis what I appreciate the most. It's clean. The decoration is not really modern buit it's a matter of taste.

I was with the Vintage Motorcycle club as was the reviewer Fran-Maria below, I can only echo the sentiments made by Fran and Maria. A great welcome was given to all of us by Svenja and her staff. We were all delighted with our stay, the rooms, the food, plenty of room to sit and relax. The staff were excellent,... More

Honestly, our feelings about accommodation were not great for Burren Castle Hotel as we approached. A late decision to travel, up against the bruise for beds with Slow Food Festival and then, grim weather. Cold small photos on booking.com did nothing to warm the soul but availability, the price point and follow-up call to polite reception staff won us over.... More
