Just come from meal in highly reviewed Wild Honey Inn.. Was very quiet when we arrived and they offered us a choice of tables.. We said wherever but they said take your pick.. Chose window table.. Had gorgeous food.. (a bit overpriced for what was basically a pub setting but very good nonetheless).. But when we were waiting for our... More

Lovely boutique hotel - a little on the quirky side - but really sweet. My single room was pretty and warm, comfortable and very individualistic. It didn't have tea making facilities - and I love my tea - but once I mentioned it to the owners, a tray with everything I needed arrived. There's a communal sitting room downstairs with... More

Stayed here mid week for three nights. We tried to book on line without success, phoned and booked with a really helpful lady, Kate the owner. Old ways are better than the modern impersonal methods it seems. We really liked this place, you always get a better feeling about a place when you book by phone, and Wild Honey Inn... More

Very unfriendly owners, treat their customers in a rude and cold manner. The doors are locked during the day, the whole atmosphere is very uninviting. Highly over priced food in the restaurant and poor, slow service! Would certainly not return again, and would advise others to avoid this place!

Room - large, comfy, decor suited the Wild Honey name. I loved the shower gel, and don't care that my girlfriend thinks that is a weird thing to comment on. It seemed like the room would be quite cold, but we needn't have worried. Food - Just wow. We really didn't expect it to be that good. One of our... More

Stayed for two nights while working in the area with my husband and the rest of the filming team. Very charming and the owners very nice. the restaurant/pub serves excellent food. I adored the food they serve!

Went here for lunch yesterday afternoon. The food was just superb. I had the lamb neck a la plancha from the regular menu. It was served with perfectly al dente green beans with lentils and black olive and roast potatoes. My wife had one of the daily specials which was duck breast on crisp black cabbage, jus reduction and triple... More

Let me start by saying that I never got to stay here, and would never consider it if I'm in the area again. I booked a room here last May on their own website to stay the first weekend of October. 9 days before we were due to stay I called to confirm the booking and was told that the... More

Our family of 5, (2 adults and 3 daughters aged 10 and 7 - twins) stayed for 3 nights in July of this year. The Wild Honey Inn is a gem! The rooms are really nicely appointed, very clean and cosy. Our daughters stayed in the room next door and we were at the end of a corridor so they... More

A wonderful place to stay and spend some time just relaxing between cities and historical sites. The room was spotless and very cozy, we even had our own patio to an outside walled garden area. The included breakfast was perfect and the dining area is lovely. We didn't eat dinner in the main restaurant (only because we were looking for... More
