After a delayed flight from London to Shannon we were delighted when we arrived at The Wild Honey Inn to be greeted by excellent pints of Guinness, home made soup and lovely organic poached salmon sandwiches. Our bedroom was a lovely surprise comfortable & cosy with plenty of fluffy white towels and no shortage of toiletries. On Saturday morning our... more

We stayed in the Wild Honey inn in Oct having seen it on the RTE programme 'At your service'. We have eaten in both Doonbeg and Sheen Falls in the past so we knew we were in for a treat. We had dinner in the bar and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent. I had the risotto for starters... more

We stopped at Wild Honey on our way through Lisadoonvarna and we were delighted with what we discovered...a lovely inn that serves absolutely delicious food and very reasonably priced. Everything we tasted from the menu was on a par with some of the best restaurants on the country and we'll certainly be returning for more! more

We previously reviewed this delightful B&B back in June under the above title when it was only available to review under the previous owner's name of Kincora House Hotel. Aidan & Kate took it over in late 2008 and opened for business for the 2009 season and re-named it The Wild Honey Inn, it would be a travesty if all... more

We happened to be driving past and saw The Wild Honey Inn and thought it looked pretty good. When we arrived having booked a room from the Cliffs of Moher visitors centre we were greeted by the friendly helpful owners. The rooms are clean (gradually each one is being renovated) and the living areas downstairs are cosy and comfortable. The... more

My husband and I were on a bike trip through Co. Clare and we stayed two nights at Wild Honey. The dinners we ate there were the best meals we had in Ireland. The owner, Aidan MacGrath is a 5 star chef and this is certainly is proven in the cuisine. We felt very welcome and sure appreciated the Irish... more

Myself and my partner went for three days break to Lisdoonvarna as we wanted to be close to the Cliffs of Moher, Caves etc. and chose the Wild Honey Inn because of the glowing reports of the Guest House on Trip Advisor. It is a beautiful Guest House, our room was beautifully decorated and we had a lovely patio area... more

We stayed for 3 nights and felt very relaxed the moment we arrived. I could feel the tension drain away from my shoulders as soon as my head touched the pillow. Our room was at ground level and as a result we had our own little patio area that allowed you to wander in to the main garden, which is... more
