The hotel is in a quite spot on the edge of the village (that said, finding a loud spot in Ireland, outside of a pub is rather difficult). They have a nice TV room with sofas and fragranced by fresh lilies that in the evening was empty and good to chill out in (we had to as wifi did not... More

Our family stayed at Greenlawn two nights- we have two teenagers and had two rooms on the main floor. The bathrooms were excellent and the rooms inviting, but we particularly loved the sunny dining room for delicious pre-ordered cooked breakfasts and for tea in the afternoons. Our family plays board games and this room was a great place to wait... More

Spent just 1 night here but could not be more welcomed. Spotless, really nice place to relax. Beautiful surroundings. Bed was really comfortable and bathroom was of very high quality. Breakfast was really nice and some local information when required was very helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. Wood defo stay here again!!

My wife and I were pretty disappointed with our stay here. We arrived at 11.30pm, we'd indicated we were coming late from London, having rushed there from the airport without stopping for food, to avoid any inconvenience. We got a very cursory welcome and were shown briskly to our room which was uncomfortably cold. The radiators had been off for... More

This was a great place to stay while we were visiting the area and the Cliffs of Moher. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and feeling like home. The home made breakfast was exceptional!

We had a warm welcome and found our hosts friendly and helpful. The only downside was the smallness of our room. (I think the other rooms are larger.) We liked the generous bowl of fruit (including redcurrants - a delicious detail) and yoghurt for breakfast. Bacon, eggs etc and pancakes were also on the breakfast menu. Menus for the restaurants... We stayed at the Greenlawn on our recent visit to Ireland. It was a short drive from Shannon Airport and we were able to check in early after arriving so early in the morning. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. It was a short walk into the village and we enjoyed the picnic tables outside in... More

We had a most enjoyable stay at Greenlawn Lodge. The room, on the first floor, was not very spacious but we had access to a beautiful lounge where we were able to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfasts were excellent. Patricia was very friendly and helpful, giving advice about areas to explore in the area. The B and... More

We loved this location! Had a very nice room on 2nd floor. Patricia makes an extraordinary breakfast and was pleasant and helpful. She gave us many pointers on where to eat and best scenic routes to take. Lisdoonvarna is a quaint little town and a pleasant walk from the lodge. You must eat at the Roadside Tavern, food was fab... Ideal for visiting the beautiful County Clare coast and The Burren. The B&B is an easy walk to several restaurants and pubs in the friendly town of Lisdoonvarna. Accommodation is spacious, well-appointed and a step above the usual B&B, having a very good lounge and garden seating area. Breakfast fine, could be improved further with a choice of fruit as...
