Breakfast, spacious relaxing atmosphere and friendliness were pluses. Also pleasant, mostly traffic free , walking along the Burren Way on the doorstep. Also nice view from bedroom. Unprofessional check-in. Polyester bedclothes , musty odour , dated fabric of building speak from the past when many B&Bs were like this . It all makes one wonder how clean the place actually... On the road to the farmhouse we were "greeted" by two cows and a calf herded by a Border Collie-ish dog and a couple of other folks tending the herd. What a great way to welcome us to this bucolic setting! If you like remote, peaceful surroundings with breathtaking scenery, this is the place to be. There is nothing fancy... More

The fernhill farmhouse is an old fashioned country house placed into the very green country side, but close to the doolin's pubs and Pier. It is good for all of you that is looking for quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable, even if a bit cold, old equipped and even a bit noisy. The breakfast is good, but it... More

I've stayed at Fernhill Farmhouse many times, usually when traveling in Ireland with my family. Fernhill is located half way between the busy little towns of Lisdoonvarna and Doolin, a 3 minute drive to each but far enough away to be away from the music and pub noise common in both towns. On a fair day, we've been known to... More

A wonderful, quiet B&B in the most beautiful landscape. The legendary Pub town Doolin is only a short distance away. We had an unforgettable time in this house. We'll be back. Thank you so much! Best regards Nico and Jonas

Out in the country, quiet, and with beautiful views, Fernhill Farm was such a lovely place to stay - and I wish I could have put 4 1/2 stars, but your rating system would not let me. It is not a modern, stainless steel and glass place, but a real Irish home. And it has been a B&B for 45... More

Very quite beautiful bed and breakfast. Loved sitting out in the yard enjoying the views. Suzanne and her staff were gems. Provided us our first taste of Ireland and their warm welcome. Breakfast was wonderful. Suzanne gave us information and directions to the Cliffs and we took some beautiful pictures of the sunset. Would diffently stay there again!!!

What a lovely house, and the hostess is charming. We felt very welcome, and Suzanne was able to answer our many questions about where to eat, when to go to the Cliffs, etc... Breakfast was copious and the room was comfortable. The farm is a little difficult to find but we asked in town and then had no trouble.

Our hostess was friendly and welcoming, and our triple ensuite room was perfect. One of the directions from the bnb website had us going left instead of right but once we found the place we were very happy. The views of the rolling countryside were splendid. Stayed in summer so I can't comment on the temperature except to say it... More

We booked this B&B by chance and was pleased with our choice. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed the stay. The room was nice and breakfast was really good. After spending the day in The Burren we enjoyed coming back and sitting in the large front room in the sun and reading. This B&B is located in a... More
