You are hard-pressed to find a better place to stay in or near the Burren. Mary is very welcoming and makes every effort to accommodate all requests. She even allowed me to make reservations via DM on Twitter! The breakfasts are so good! The selection of fresh fruit, juices, and cereal to enjoy are par for the course, and Mary... More

We loved this place. The house was comfortable, with plenty of space and a nice selection of guidebooks to peruse. Our room was adequate, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The floor was a little squeaky in our room, but that just added to its character! Our host was phenomenally helpful; she gave us welcome directions, advice, and... More

We did 8 nights in Ireland and we stayed here two nights-the only time we doubled up. Really just what you would want in a B&B. It had the best breakfast and most variety of any place we stayed. Mary our host was very happy to help us plan our ambitious itinerary in the area and made some very helpful... More

We spent a weekend here on our 3 week tour of western Ireland. Everything was done right, very comfy, friendly and helpful as could be, most accommodating. no negative issues at all. We enjoyed this place very much, nice easy couple block walk into the main square area.

We were a group of 8 Russians (some of us without any English) traveling across Ireland. Each night we stayed at the new place, this one was undoubtedly the best! It's quite hard to meet the tastes of so many people, besides we arrived quite late, after 9pm, but Mary made our stay exceptional! The house is beautifully designed, breakfast... More

We stumbled upon this B&B sitting upon the hill. The room was very clean and the host extremely welcoming. Breakfast included a great selection of fruits, yogurt, and museli plus something cooked. Absolutely delicious! Great restaurants within walking distance and heard some traditional irish music there too. Great location to explore the burren from!

My daughter had the BEST of luck in finding Ballinsheen House. She wanted to tour the Burren. My heart was set on Cliffs of Moher. We were both extremely content. Mary is an Angel on earth! She "looked after us" in every way!! All of her recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc. were delightful. We stayed 2... More

It's a place where you feel at home. The house, the room and the owner are very welcoming. Everything got the exact attention that it should get. The house and it's yard are very clean and nit. The room has all the facilities and all are in high level of maintenance. Highly recommended place.

This delightful B & B is a must stay place if you are in the area. Mary has the most gorgeous place there, and you would really struggle to find better. Excellent value for money, and she makes everyone feel so welcome. The overall house was gorgeous, rooms fantastic and breakfast was an experience. I have stayed in 5* hotels... More
