I stayed in Ross Lake Hotel last weekend; my second visit to the hotel. I have thoroughly enjoy the stayed on both occasion. Beautiful area, lots of walks, castles, golf and lakes near by. The house is charming, comfortable and well appointed. The food is great!! Some really nice suite bedrooms with 4 poster beds! Lovely!

I'm a little late with my review; we stayed back in June but even now it left a lasting impression on us. We spent two lovely nights with our hosts, Henry and Elaine, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was the 5th week of our holiday and we found our stay helped recharge our 'batteries'. If you want... More

I'm a little late with this review as we stopped here end of August. Very isolated, quiet, relaxing hotel. We loved this hotel from the minute we drove up the drive. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and pleasant to stay in. There is a set routine for dinner if you dine there(very quaint), amazing food and very friendly service from... More

My fiancee and I chose to end our trip around Western Europe in Ireland, and I found this B&B on another travel site. We got a decent rate, and were not used to how things were priced in Irish B&B's as we are probably younger than their target market. In fact when we first checked in I got the vibe... More

Lovely family run hotel. Very friendly. Stayed one night, wish could stayed longer. We had a beautiful meal - service was great. Meal was a little pricey but was very tasty so didn't mind. would try again!

We spent 3 days at Ross Lake house and used it as a base to tour around the local area and attractions. It is a really stunning hotel with large light rooms and big bathrooms. Henry is the owner and he and his wife run the hotel. There is a definite hint of Basil about Henry but is a very... More

Beautiful surroundings, great room, lovely dinner on our way to Mayo. The Irish coffee made by a master and was fantastic. The breakfast was the best so far. We would have stayed longer but we had to move on.

Our group of 6 worked with Irishtourism.com to book an 8 night self drive trip through Southern Ireland. Ross Lake House was our 2nd stop for 2 nights and was most delightful. It's situated on beautiful grounds away from any city noise. The rooms were spotless and service wonderful. Be sure to have a drink in the small bar before... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in Ross Lake House Hotel back in May and it was a perfect little getaway. We were looking for somewhere to relax, unwind, turn off our phones , forget about work and explore the Connemara countryside. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The Hotel is located just 20 minutes from Galway and 10 minutes... More
