Beautiful surroundings, great room, lovely dinner on our way to Mayo. The Irish coffee made by a master and was fantastic. The breakfast was the best so far. We would have stayed longer but we had to move on.

Our group of 6 worked with Irishtourism.com to book an 8 night self drive trip through Southern Ireland. Ross Lake House was our 2nd stop for 2 nights and was most delightful. It's situated on beautiful grounds away from any city noise. The rooms were spotless and service wonderful. Be sure to have a drink in the small bar before... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in Ross Lake House Hotel back in May and it was a perfect little getaway. We were looking for somewhere to relax, unwind, turn off our phones , forget about work and explore the Connemara countryside. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The Hotel is located just 20 minutes from Galway and 10 minutes... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The property's older so it has a bit of "character" to it. The owners are very pleasant and Joe, the head of the dining room, runs a tight ship. Dinner was not fancy but delicious. Lamb cooked to perfection. The property grounds are very beautiful as well.

Ross Lake House can only be described as the perfect place to stay if you're looking for that "somewhere special"! We discovered this delightful hotel last June on our honeymoon, tucked away in it's own beautiful surroundings in the stunning Connemara countryside. Not only is this old fashioned, yet very special hotel, with it's individually designed bedrooms, which are spotless... More

Firstly, Hennry is a hoot and not at all stuffy!Elaine is a most gracious hostess and together with Tom, the charming, attentive and very witty waiter, the three of them make a winning team. My husband and I just spent a sun-soaked 3-day weekend in fabulous Connemara to escape the stresses of the city and had the pleasure of staying... More

We traveled with another couple who recommended this hotel. It was the highlight of our trip. The food and service was top rate, and the rooms clean with super comfortable beds. It is peaceful and quiet. Dinner was truly one of the best meals in my travels. If you're looking for some r&r in a 19th century manor house, this... More
