We stayed here recently for one night. There were three of us, and they added an extra bed to a double room. However, the extra bed was made up just like the others, and it looked like it belonged there! We had a beautiful view of the Irish sea. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. This inn... More

King Sitric isn't really a hotel but more a restaurant with a few rooms upstairs. We came in rather late on a Sunday when the restaurant closes early. But the bar downstairs was open and they checked us in a promised to take good care of us - and they did. The rooms are spacious and located right on the... More

Our daughter was getting married in Howth and we stayed in the King Sitric for a number of nights. Really lovely rooms. Family run. They were all so helpful while we were preparing for the big day. Had a meal in the restaurant on the night after the wedding. Really first class.

We found ourselves fortunate to be sat outdoors at the King Sitric just as the sun was setting on a beautiful sunny day in Howth. The Lobster and chips was simple yet elegant and the house ales are a wonderful compliment to a long day in the sunshine.

I had to stay in the area for one night only and all I wanted was an adequate hotel, but the King Sitric was more than that - the room was ideal and the staff were great. The food was lovely too! I was given a ground-floor room and advised not to leave the window open so felt a little... More

The King Sitric is a short drive away from the Hill of Tara but for all the world and time, the ancient heroes of the Emerald Isle could find a bed here and be royally treated! We were thoroughly spoilt : every morning we were offered a magnificent choice of breakfast delicacies, all equally inviting after a goodnight's rest in... More

We began a week-long trip to Dublin for business with a 2 night stay in the charming, small fishing village of Howth (pronounced Hoat, with a long "o" and a very hard "th" sound. ). The hotel includes two restaurants (casual cafe and more formal dining room) in addition to rooms right across the road from the Irish Sea. A... More

Stayed there two nights on an Irish golf trip. At first had some reservation about why the golf travel company booked us at the property. Parking can be tough, there is no elevator and the staircase is narrow. First impressions can often be wrong and they certainly were here. The staff is outstanding. Carried all of our bags up and... There were four of us with four sherries while reading the menu. One squid, two mushroom soups a a smoked salmon... all simply presented but very good. The hake was exceptional, simple, flavousome and quite enough. The vegetables served separately were very good indeed. A nice Sancerre, some coffees and a long conversation all made for a very nice 'old... More

We spend here one night last weekend. Superior room wasn't maybe very luxury but reasonable and with the stunning view and you pay the most price for views and location. Food in restaurant fantastic. I don't like fish so much but if I was in seafood restaurant I decided to try Hake. It was heaven! Breakfast delicious as well and... More
