This is our choice when visiting Dublin. Howth is a friendly place with an active fishing harbour which bustles with visitors without feeling overwhelmingly crowded. The food in both restaurant and café is excellent and one may have fish for breakfast everyday if so desired. At night a peace descends and the bedrooms have lovely views. There is ample free... Very nice hotel, the owners were delightful. The views were gorgeous, and they kindly upgraded us since the hotel was not full. The breakfast room/restaurant was out of a dream it was so beautiful. The breakfast itself was the best we had in Ireland! Incredible cheeses, delicious jams, and all the great Irish breakfast fare. Howth itself was an unexpectedly... More

We ended our road trip of Ireland in Howth, staying in this beautifully positioned hotel. We were welcomed by Gareth who was extremely friendly and helped us with our bags, we were impressed with our room which had a king bed, good sized room with all facilities and a good bathroom. We decided to eat in at the bar downstairs... More

Nice place to sleep for the night, but that was about it. There was nothing special other than avoiding a hotel by the airport. It was more expensive than other places we loved. Nice, but not worth the cost. Clean but small. Good restaurant.

The room had the most fabulous view! It was spotless and beautifully laid out with lovely attention to detail tea coffee hot chocolate and water all available. The bathroom was also lovely. The food was out of this world my husband said he's never had better lobster! The location is great to walk (waddle!) off the lovely meal after and... More

The best part about staying here is its location by the water. Everything is within a 5 minute walk, including restaurants and the fishing port. The hotel is comfortable, although not luxurious, and seems a little overpriced as a consequence. Breakfast offerings are limited but good quality with the ingredients sourced locally. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel,... More

After making a long walk along the shores we were quite hungry and decided we would eat sea-food. Unfortunately there was to much choice ... We went by a dozen sea-food restaurants with great reviews on trip advisor. Some were closed, others were fully booked and a few did't seem as great as the were announced on the side. In... More

Need I say more. This is a bustling little place with a phenomena view over Howth Bay. The place is definitely a hot spot, so be prepared to wait for a table (although we lucked out there) and service (it is slow, but the atmosphere almost makes you forget that). The food is outrageously delicious. the calamari, the North Dublin... More

Small B&B that has excellent location in the East Pier of Howth opposite the ocean and next to the Marina. Rooms are comfortable and very well equipped, and well serviced. Bathroom with tub and shower. One restaurant and a cafe serving food are part of the same complex. Good dishes are served at either and seafood is very fresh and... More

We have visited the restaurant on many occasions for Sunday lunch and evening meals. The food is always well cooked and well presented. Although renowned for its fish there are ample meat dishes on the menu. On my last visit I tried the lamb dish, which was fabulous. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to enjoy a special... More
