We couldn't fault the room or the service. The room wasn't massive but it was clean and no smaller than we expected for the price. The breakfast was lovely and certainly set us up for our day exploring Dublin, we were offered more tea and toast countless times. It is not the closest place to the city centre but it... More

I stayed here when visiting a friend who lives in the area. The hotel is not centrally located, but it is pretty easy to get to the center of town via public transit. The room was basic but comfortable. Given this, the EUR95 price per night felt a bit steep. Breakfast was tasty, but I wish it had included black... More

I was really surprised to find out how expensive accomodation in Dublin can be, especially when you compare it to London, for instance. Normally, I look for centrally located hotel or guesthouse that offers clean rooms and decent facilities. Luckily, I came across Ardagh House. Located a bit outside city centre (30-40 mins walk or 5 mins walk then 10... More

We booked room at Ardagh House as it was within walking distance of the Synagogue and also just a short bus ride to Dublin city centre. All the staff at Ardagh were incredibly helpful and Mary and Willie have created a lovely family atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they certainly accommodated all our needs and... More

Very pleasant place, our bedroom was very cozy and quiet, and staff always willing to help. Breakfast was also excellent! Location is good too, it only takes one bus to get to the city centre. We only had a minor problem with wifi connection, but it was finally a good pretext to enjoy the comfortable couches in the living room... More

We were happy all around with Ardagh House. The location was great, just a couple of miles south of the city center, easily reached by bus, taxi or car. You can even walk it if the weather is suitable, but it will be a 45-50 minute walk. The rooms were clean, spacious and lovely. The decor was charming. The dining... More

We were looking for a B & B or hotel that would be close to family after the loss of a loved one. Mary and Willie and the staff were so kind to us and made sure we had everything we needed. We ended up staying two weeks and they even found a room for our daughter without much notice.... More

A party of us were travelling to attend a funeral in Dublin earlier this week and Ardagh House & the staff did everything in their power to assist meeting our intricate requirements (large rooms to accommodate 4, ground floor rooms for elderly, car parking, checking in time, dates, etc). The house has a lovely character about it - old worldy,... More
