This hotel has recently reopened, having been burnt down several years ago. It has been rebuilt and fitted out with modern, tasteful furniture and excellent bathroom fittings. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is generally of a high standard. Some family members had stayed in July and had negotiated a deal for a midweek stay. Our stay was on a Friday and even though the hotel was full we also got a small reduction on their published rates. The only problem we had was that our room (106) was directly above the outside smoking area which meant we had noise outside until after 1am!!
The breakfast was excellent with a good choice- I am hungry just thinking about it. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening - there was a deal of Euro15 for a steak dinner (they have that every Fri) and the food was again excellent.
There is fishing nearby on Lough Melvin and Kinlough is very close to Bundoran, Manorhamilton etc.
I would definately stay again and recommend it to... more
