Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained. Excellent food. Perfect for enjoying all the local sights and amenities and easy to find. Overall great value. My only criticism would be that we arrived late on a Sunday evening after a day travelling and there was no food available. I guess if we had asked we might have... More

Lady Gregory is perfect! Thecia , Sharon and all of the the staff are attentive, warm and accommodating, The rooms were very clean, very large, plenty of towels , showers were large. The beds were large and very comfortable. As for the food - it exceeded all expectations and always hot and the wait staff always attentive. All expectations were... More

Stayed here at the beginning of the month for two nights. Showing its age a bit but staff are friendly and service prompt. Food punches above the norm with good presentation and fresh ingredients. I will return.

Cannot say enough about this hotel. So welcoming. Room was extremely comfortable, tasteful and cosy. Food was excellent and location very good. Made full use of the pool, sauna and steam room and the staff could not have done enough for us. It made our valentines weekend extra special. Will definitely be back to stay again.

We stayed here for valentines. The hotel looks quite grand when you enter, big stair case and lovely looking restaurant and bar area. We were slightly disappointed with the spa however, it closes early and opens late, two of the spa rooms weren't open and the steam room wasn't working. The room was fine, but didnt look as grand as... More

Stayed here for a night with my family recently. We booked two family rooms which were both large and comfortable. Our room was a little cold when we checked in and we were given an elecctric heater which warmed it up after a while. The receptionist was not overly friendly and didn't tell us that the pool was closing at... More

We went there for one night on Bank Holiday weekend in Oct 14. Hotel itself is really nice, however the rooms need some improvement. We've got the bathroom with rusted radiator and the ceiling light full of dead flies - pretty disgusting. However I really like the hotel's grounds - a little bit like a castle. Staff is very nice... Stayed over for one night on buisness, First of all my booking couldn't be found but eventually got sorted, huge room and very spacious, overall very clean but top bed cover stained, old style tv with a fuzzy picture and not many channels too choose from, shower had one temperature which was the same as molten lava, food was ok,...
