My wife and I stayed here for three nights with friends whilst touring Ireland for the first time. The hotel had only been open one year and was beautifully appointed. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Bedrooms were immaculately presented: lots of space and a well laid out bathroom. Full Irish breakfast was freshly cooked, and there were also... more

This review is based on a single night’s stay but enough to give a good impression of the hotel. The Ard Ri hotel is a modern, 2 storey building with an ample car park. The reception area is spacious with good lounge facilities. The rooms are well laid out and adequately furnished. The ensuites are particularly impressive and well equipped.... more

The receptionist was very friendly. We did have difficulty navigating all the doors and hallways to get to our rooms. It was... more

Stayed in the Ard Ri House Hotel for two nights - on our wedding night & the following night. In regards to our wedding, we cannot praise the Ard Ri hotel, its management & staff highly enough, for their time, advice, help, care & attention to detail. Everything we asked for was taken care of to perfection & to a... more

During a recent business trip to the West of Ireland, IK stayed at the Ard Ri House Hotel. This is on the N17 close to town of Tuam. The whole experience was excellent. I arrived in the evening. Had a drink at the bar and a meal in the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, always a good sign and also,... more

Found this hotel by chance on the internet – so glad I did! (Good website, informative with a quick and easy online booking facility.) Hotel had only been open for 5 weeks when we stayed and is still ‘work in progress’ – leisure complex is apparently scheduled to open late 2008. You wouldn’t realize there was any building going on... more
