This was a beautifully decorated and very clean B&B. Amazing views of the Drumcliffe Bay and Benbulben. Elizabeth prepared us a great breakfast. Brendan provided us with several good suggestions for sightseeing and hiking (Knocknarea and Carrowmore Tombs). We highly recommended this home.

Elizabeth and Brendan were warm friendly hosts. Brendan offered extremely helpful tourist advise and Elizabeth provided an excellent breakfast in a divine setting. The accommodation was second to none. We highly recommend this fantastic B & B which was one of the highlights of our month in Ireland.

The views were great, but for 75 euros the night you would expect something better. The breakfast was just average and we had that feeling when they don't trust you. We went for dinner in Sligo town and we left the car there and took a taxi (14 euros for 4 km) back to the B&B. We forgot the room... More

We didn't want to leave Brendan and Elizabeth's alluring home and this we knew just sitting in the car when we arrived. Their home and gardens and the dazzling views all around made magic and the birdsong in the wind beguiled with ancient incantation. Meeting them was like meeting kindhearted friends after years spent apart; the connection was immediate and... More

We have traveled many times throughout Ireland... not only for it's beautiful scenery and rich history, but also to meet and mingle with the people. Everything comes to together here at the Serenity B&B. The Gardens are gorgeous, the views stunning, and the warmth and hospitality of Brendan and Elizabeth unsurpassed. If you are looking for an oasis, a place... More

Excellent location. Owners maintain the place in immaculate condition. Arrived late afternoon and they treated us to some tea and biscuits and shared there tips for attractions in the area. Breakfast was great and rooms are well kept.

My wife and I arrived in the Sligo, only to be disappointed with the hotel we had a reservation for. We drove around and landed at Serenity B&B. it has a stunning spot (looking out over Benbulbin), and is soooo quiet. We loved it. As others have noted, Elisabeth and Brendan are fantastic hosts. Brendan planned a lovely journey for... More

We stayed our first two nights of our trip at Serenity. It was just what we needed, quiet and beautiful setting. My sister's room and a gorgeous view of Benbulben. Brendan is very knowledgeable on the history of the area Elizabeth made a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Elizabeth welcomed us, showed us our rooms and went off to brew tea for us. She served it in the sitting room and sat and talked with us. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Brendan came in to talk with us during breakfast, telling us all the history and... More

During our recent 3 week trip in Ireland we stayed here 2 nights but wish we could have stayed a week! Elizabeth and Brendan welcomed us with tea in the sitting room and stayed to share personal and local history. They made Sligo and County Donegal come alive and that made all the difference in our explorations of the area.... More
