Bro and his wife (here on a visit from Australia where they are now resident), our two sisters and I went to Sligo for a short break. We stayed @ Willsborough and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Nice spacious clean rooms, tasty food and Fiona is a great host. Bro and I enjoyed morning walks before breakfast along the quiet roads... More

A very clean, home with comfortable, well-sized rooms. The area is beautiful, right near Benbulben, a close drive to Sligo town, Glencar and beaches. A substantial breakfast as well with a large menu of choices. Very friendly- I'd love to go back. Wi-fi not great though, so make sure you're not in need of it for anything important.

To put this review in context, my wife and I work extremely busy jobs and when we go on vacation, we put a premium on staying in nice accommodations.  Our thoughts on Willsborough: Kind, gracious host.  Nice and clean rooms.  (I have bad dust allergies and I have had absolutely NO problems) Comfortable bed.  Strong shower. Great access to hiking... More

What can I say? We stayed for one week at the Willsborough House and we really felt at home there from the very first minute we arrived. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the Full Irish breakfast and the excellent service. Sligo is the perfect "home base", if you plan to do trips by car to the... More

After striking out in finding decent lodging in Sligo, we ledt town and asked for a recommendation at the Yeats Tavern in Drumcliff. We chose the Willsborough House from a list provided as it was just down the road. It was a very pleasant surpise, with large, comfortable rooms, a quiet setting, and a welcoming hostess. Although the location is... More

We were staying in Sligo as a one-night stop-over point between Derry and Galway. Thanks to a most comprehensive website, the location was pretty easy to find. The accommodation is signposted from the main road. Whilst the Willsborough is a little out of town (Sligo) it guarantees peace and privacy. Wi-fi was available and on-site car-parking was certainly a bonus.... More

This was our first experience with a B&B in Ireland. Willsborough B&B is quite easy to find and is very nice. The rooms are large, airy and nicely appointed. Fiona does a great job of serving a very delicious breakfast and is very helpful in guidance of directions, where to eat etc. I highly recommend this B&B in Drumcliff.
