We stayed in the hotel with a 4, 3 & 1 year old and we have never being made to feel as welcome in a hotel as we were here. The staff were as personable as a small family run hotel despite the size and grandeur of Castlemartyr. The hotel is one of the most lavish in Ireland and not... more

This place is amazing. The room is large and appointments are top notch. The bathroom is amazing. The Bath is great for a long soak. Overhead rain in shower. Beautiful grouds. Golf course looked great - did not play. Good food at golf club. Service is top notch. more

We recently stayed in this hotel for my sisters wedding. The staff were great - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, clean and large. The food was delicious. The grounds and spa were lovely. A fantastic hotel which I will definitely be going back to again. more

Having just come home from Castlemartyr I feel compelled to write about it as soon as possible, as it was a truly wonderful weekend break. We went there to celebrate a special event for my wife, and it was most definitely worth it! Five star all the way. Top class! From the moment we were greeted at the door by... more

Let me preface this by saying I am well travelled and I love high end hotels, but lose interest with the standard fare of some chains. I'm a picky client and I can't find anything wrong with this hotel! I can't say enough about this hotel. My friends are too tired of hearing about it so I have turned to... more

I have just returned from a weekend here and Castlemartyre is so good it has inspired me to finally sign up to review the places I stay at because they do vary so much. This is a very very good hotel. The down points are it’s a stroll to get the rooms and sometimes the food took awhile to turn... more

This is one of the best resorts I have had the pleasure of visiting. The service and kindness of the staff, the atmosphere, the spa, the Ozone pool, all justified the 5 star rating. I have stayed there for 3 nights, and explored many of the options. The dinner restaurant did not meet our expectations, food came a little cold,... more

I stay at Castlemartyr Resort over 4 days and had a brilliant time. From playing a round of golf, to walking their 2 Irish Setters, to lounging around the pool, I really enjoyed my time. The hotel is in immaculate condition. The new section of the hotel (which I stayed) is superbly furnished. The service from all personnel was professional... more
