This was a 3-night package, BB and I D, great offers in the low season and also for the over 50's. We were given an upgrade to a spacious room overlooking the bay. Food was very good and service friendly and efficient. The menu is also clearly allergy aware, and caters for special dietary needs. The hotel has an innovative... More

I very nearly selected 'average', but the overall experience deserved better........so a 'very good' it is! I'll explain.........The room, Average! We had a Superior Room with sea views. The views were utterly spectacular! The room was large, clean & airy! BUT.....very outdated. The room just had a tired feel about it. Bed, overly hard for me....although my partner found it... More

Stayed here for two nights in February 2015. From booking to checking out I was very impressed with the friendliness and the efficiency of the staff. The room was very spacious and spotless. Wifi was excellent. Dinner in the Lighthouse bistro was excellent on both nights. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury break.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of February. On checking in our room wasn't ready so we had to wait 15 minutes. We were sent over complimentary tea, coffee and scones which was a pleasant surprise. The room was bigger than expected and was overlooking the sea view. Later that evening I noticed that the heating wasn't coming on... More

What a gem. We took a few days in a family room and loved every minute of the stay. The hotel is just on the beach, and we were delighted with the quality of the room and the hotel. We ate twice in the bar and the bar food was just superb. The staff are a sheer joy and and... More

From the moment we arrived we felt special with the warm welcome and the upgrade to a room with a beautiful sea view. This hotel has so many different places to relax, and the environmentally friendly heating makes everywhere so cozy. The Bistro was busy but the service was very efficient and the food was lovely. Breakfast too was a... More

We had our wedding here in March 2014 and returned in February 2015 for our early 1 year Anniversary. All the staff from management to table service to food & beverage were top class. They make you feel at home and go above and beyond to make your day feel like yours is the only one that matters. From the... More

I'm cross with myself that it has taken this long to review the garryvoe hotel. We celebrated our wedding day here in August. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I literally have nothing bad to say about the hotel. From the day we visited the hotel eighteen months before our wedding day to the day after the staff could not... More

Regular visitors. Fantastic night. Five star customer service. Cannot fault this hotel. Great value also. Get a sea view room. Worth it for the sunsets and sunrises - weather permitting. Beautiful location. Food stunning. What more could you ask for.
