If you want all the facilities of a first class hotel, with your very own private retreat, this is the place to be. A beautiful private lodge tucked away in the grounds, with exceptional levels of comfort. Thank you to Amanda, who really looked after us. A fabulous home from home. Must be experienced to appreciate. Try it, you will... More

Just back from a 7 night stay in the 2 bed mews with my husband and 1 year old, we had a lovely holiday. We found the mews lovely and spacious and spotless clean. The only thing I would point out is our mews had 1 bedroom upstairs and the other 1 downstairs which wasn't great with a baby as... More

I'm just back from a really lovely break at Castlemartyr. We were 10 adults and 5 children who were celebrating our Mum's birthday. We had a mews house and then 2 lodges. The lodges were fantastic, really roomy and had a lovely outdoor space. We ate in 2 nights and they were very well equipped. However, the Mews house was... More

We really enjoyed our stay at castlemartyr. The lodges were great, spacious & comfortable. Customer service was second to none. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and we ordered a breakfast hamper which was full of quality ingredients. It would have been nice if things like salt, pepper & perhaps cooking oil were included in either welcome basket or... More

Excellent facilities in the houses where we stated, could not fault a thing. Superb staff who were friendly and pleasant. Only thing I would fault is the main restaurant wine list which was shockingly poor yet very expensive. Maybe the worst wine list I have ever seen in a"good" restaurant, and apparently it's a new list! But that's a small... More

We stayed in the 3 bed lodge which is modern and spacious with ample outdoor space for kids to play ,with a playground onsite and the chance to feed lambs and see some animals with the very friendly Roy. Roy also does the fantastic pony and trap which the kids and grandparents loved . We ate once in Franchinis which... More

This was our 4th stay in 3 years in Castlemartyr and we are looking forward to many more. It's even more family oriented than ever which makes it an incredibly relaxing break when you have a young family. Accommodation is super comfy and services are superb. Even little touches like not having to check in or out make life so... More

My husband, myself and our 5-year old son stayed in one of the gorgeous 2-bed town houses at Castlemartyr and it was a delight from start to finish. From booking to check out, everything ran perfectly. The lodges have all the mod cons and the epitome of luxury; especially with all the facilities of the 5-star Castlemartyr at your disposal.... Booked a couple of 3 bedroom houses in Castlemartyr. Had a bit of hassle before the trip due to the fact that the natural retreats company is not based on site and the person on the phone is not necessarily familiar with the location or house type. One person told us that the double rooms could be split into two... More

Thanks for taking the time to review the lodges at Castlemartyr. In all of the lodges there is one master bedroom which is a double and the other bedrooms can be split into twins if required. For the best information contact the concierge team and speak to one of our specialists who has visited the retreat. We do hope that... More

I was married at Castlemartyr Resort in August and some of my wedding guests (including my parents) stayed in the Lodges in the Natural Retreats. The houses themselves were lovely and very suitable for a family stay. There were some nice touches, like setting up a welcome hamper with some food and wine and the childrens play area is a... More
