I've stayed in the Stone House on several occasions now and the standard has never slipped below excellent. From the warm friendly welcome and delicious treats in the rooms to the freshly baked breads at breakfast my stay has always been great from start to finished. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We were looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights when visiting Baltimore and exploring the surrounding area but didn't want to spend a lot as we planned on being out and about most of the time. Safe to say, we landed on our feet with the Stone House B&B! Rianne was brilliant, and she saved us... More

We were spoilt from the moment we arrived. Great choice at breakfast and I promise you wont touch a thing till lunch. Home made bread, jams, biscuits. All a delight. We stayed 3 nights. House is a stones throw from the harbour. If you have sea legs, Rianne will sort that out as well. Gerry the man of the house... More

I spent 2 days in this b & b and i would say it was amazing. The atmosphere there was so peaceful. During our time there, the host made sure we were perfectly ok and everything we needed was provided, she is an amazing person; so friendly. Ohh..the breakfast was yummy; everything we ate there was home made. I'd say... More

I spent a wonderful 4 days at the Stone House. As soon as I arrived, I knew I would return. Such a warm welcome from Rianne, and impeccably clean, comfortable, fresh, bright accommodation! Mouth watering 100% healthy gourmet breakfasts which include her homemade breads, yoghurts and jams, aswell as locally sourced kippers, smoked mackerel, eggs etc. Rianne couldn't be more... More

I stayed at this B&B for a local wedding for 1 night in a single room - the room was very comfortable and location was great. Rianne the owner was amazing - she helped me with taxis before I arrived, when I arrived after long drive I was greeted with fresh coffee and banana cake. It was very easy to... More

We found ourselves stranded in Baltimore at the end of February. It's a lovely, cozy town right on the southern coast of Ireland, but it was made for the summer! Virtually nobody was there, and everything is closed. We were very concerned about what we were going to do, since we had 30 hours before we could be picked up... More

Very nice place & people. Rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent. The banana muffins were a very nice treat also. Would be great to go back to see the whales next winter ! :) West Cork is a beautiful place to explore. Thanks.

I was dropped off in Baltimore with three other girls as part of our study abroad program. We soon discovered that most things were closed for the winter and had no idea what we were going to do for the next 30 hours! The first hotel we went to was closed and we were about to call the directors to... More

Hello Abbi, Caroline, Rachel & Kathryn - thank you for your kind words. When I saw the four of you wandering around, indeed looking lost, I thought you were hoping for some snorkelling or diving but the weather wasn't quite suitable for that. I'm delighted that you enjoyed your time in Baltimore and on Sherkin island and hope your studies... More
