My faimly and I decided to trace our O'Driscoll roots and visit Ireland. We have had a geneologist trace us back to the first kings of Ireland, and inparticular to Baltimore. Rianne welcomed us into her home like faimly. She is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. The breakfast was home cooked and excellent. The rooms were quaint,... More

We stayed here for two days at the beginning of November, and after a few minutes we felt like we were staying with old friends. Rianne was so welcoming and gave us so many ideas of things to do in the area, sharing maps with us, checking the weather and giving recommendations for eating and drinking in the area. It... More

We know Baltimore a little but it was illuminated by Rianne ! Herself & Jerry made us very welcome and spoke well and warmly of Baltimore and what it offered. We joined on a days walk and filled our senses with the rapids, lands and the surrounds of Lough Ine. All anchored with a magnificently crafted breakfast. Thoroughly and highly... More

Thank you Pol & Sunshine for your kind review. I was delighted that you came on the Irish Heart Foundation walk with me around Lough Hyne, the rapids and Glennafeen and we were of course lucky with the wonderful weather and huge turnout of people from all over Ireland for the Baltimore Walking Weekend. We raised Euro 600 in total,... More

We really enjoyed our stay, only wished it was for more than 1 night. Rianne is lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and cozy and when we arrived there were homemade cakes waiting for us. The location is perfect. Quiet and a very short walk into the village. Enjoyed our breakfast, especially the homemade bread. Can't wait to... More

Rianne was a very welcoming host and spoke enthusiastically about the area and things to do in it. Her breakfast was fantastic and she did everything to ensure we had what we wanted. The room was fairly simple but comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities for guests was a nice touch - good to be able to get a fresh... More

We highly recommend The Stone House. We were very well looked after by Rianne and Jerry. The family room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast each morning was delicious. When we arrived we were treated to home made chocolate brownies and flapjacks and also later on during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we received very good... More

Stayed here one night in July, and would wholeheartedly recommend it. It's welcoming, comfortable, very well located almost in the centre of Baltimore. Breakfast is great, with home-made yoghurt and jams, and a fantastic choice.

We arrived after 2:30 on our motorbikes in pouring rain to a lady who insisted we come straight in and even sit on her lounge suite in our soaking riding gear. Amazing!! She immediately produced a huge pot of tea and snacks and even handled our wet riding gear for us. We wanted to scuba but Rianne was very forthcoming... More
