We spent two nights at Knockeven House and enjoyed very much. Pam the owner was very nice and helpful. We had a beautiful room with a view to the sea. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice and fresh products. My only remark has to do with the WiFi quality. It was working only in the corridor and... More

I was very disappointed in this property. it needs updating. The carpet is old and dirty. I kept shoes on at all times in my room. It is far from town and not is walking distance. The owner is nice enough. I would not stay here again.

We had an unexpected stay here, due to a late arrival our originally booked place made alternative arrangements for us, it was described as 'an upgrade' and it was wonderful. We had a beautiful room, it was quiet, Pam was so helpful and knowledgable of the local area. We were really fortunate to have spent a few nights here. Breakfast... More

Wonderful two night stay in Cobh. The guesthouse is beautiful and charming, with stunning scenery and a very good location relative to the town of Cobh and Fota. We were greeted on arrival by Pam who gave us tea and scones (still warm from the oven) whilst she gave us the warm Irish welcome that most places have lost. Amazing... More

My husband and I just came home from a 10 day trip to Ireland and one of the highlights was our stay at Knockeven House in Cobh. When we arrived we were greeted by Pam, the owner. She sat down with us and made us feel at home. She gave us a wonderful dinner recommendation and even made our reservation... More

We recently stayed at Pam's and could not have dreamt of a better place to start our holidays in County Cork ! Pam is a perfect hostess, so kind and welcoming, and her house is really beautiful, cosy and peaceful. Pam is so concerned about the wellbeing of her guests that she even went out of her way to borrow... More

Pamela is the personification of irish hospitality. We so enjoyed our stay because of her warmth and willingness to enhance our travel experience. We were lucky enough to be in the huge front room, which exuded a sense of comfort and light.

This very beautiful home within a few minutes drive from Cobh harbor is a must stay if your in the area. Pam is an excellent hostess and superb cook. We can't say enough good things about Knockeven House and will be back the next time we visit Ireland.

Knockeven House is a lovely old home with a charming hostess. Pam met us at the door offering tea and scones and continued to provide everything needed for our three days there. Her recommendations for trips and restaurants were right on. Our first night was in the gold room, a large lovely room. The next day we moved to the... More
