Great Hotel with best ocean views in the heart of Cobh. Delicious breakfast and great Irish pub atmosphere. Recommended for family accommodation. September nice warm weather. Cobh is full of Titanic history featuring a White Star Line booking office.

We had a room overlooking the water. The view was absolutely spectacular! The hotel itself has definitely has a lot of character and charm. The room had two fabulous window seats that my children adored. As a whole, it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location perfect.

Hotel is perfect for a night away from city living as it is the picturesque Cobh. Myself and my partner have stayed in the Commodore twice now and hope to continue to be regular visitors. As I live in a City and like a very quiet room when staying in hotels, I can be a difficult customer to please but... More

Stayed here for a 3 day break and really enjoyed the place, food and hospitality. "First impressions" upon entering the hotel are very good - shining floor and welcoming mats! The hotel is one of the oldest in Ireland so to find the grandeur and experience the efforts made to maintain its character is a great experience in itself; some... More

We have just come back from a weekend in this hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed from breakfast right through to bedtime. The location is excellent with wonderful views. The bar serves a nice pint and the food is lovely with great deals for kids. Service was very... More

From the time we arrived until we left the hotel, we were made feel so welcome by management, staff and even the locals that we happened to meet during our stay. The hotel itself is located in a very picturious part of the town looking out on to the waters edge. First impressions on arrival were, it seemed to be... More

We have stayed in the Commodore many times and have always received a warm and friendly welcome at reception.the hotel is old but has a charm of bygone days. Rooms are very clean, some are a little tired looking but the old elegance is still visible. Sea view rooms give a superb vista over the harbour and park. Food in... More

Stay here regularly with work and have really come to like this place. I've read some of the previous reviews, although mainly positive I'am suprised at the odd less than favourable remark. Yes, it's no Four Seasons and maybe in need of a bit of an update but I'am not sure what some people expect when booking a two star... More

We had our Wedding back in July at the Commodore Hotel, in our home town, and in the hotel where we more or less grew up. I personally wanted to go there for our wedding, as our families and I, have always wined and dined there, as well as myself, my brother, my wifes father, mother and two sisters, have... More

We stayed at this hotel earlier this year but just found time to write this review. This must have been a really grand Hotel in the Titanic years but is sadly now old fashioned and in need of a good renovation, the bedroom was dated but very clean. It's located in a great position overlooking the harbour and a has... More
