Stayed in the water edge hotel in Cobh two weeks ago approx, it was amazing. Hotel perfect, breakfast freshly cooked when ordered , bedroom overlooking bay which was fab, bed linen changed both mornings . Am very happy to recommend it.

Never was a hotel so aptly named. Right on the water front. It was a fabulous hotel, great views, great food. A gem of a hotel. Very friendly staff. We will be back. Cobh was wonderful. Plenty to do for a weekend break.

We had a balcony room with lovely view. The weather was nice and sunny so we took the drinks from the bar onto the bedroom balcony which was very relaxing as we watched all the ships go by. The balconies would benefit from more screening between the rooms to give a greater sense of privacy something simple like rush matting... More

An absolute gem of a small hotel with beautiful rooms right at the waters edge. Treat yourself to a balcony room and meal in the hotel, you will not get better for the price or for double the price at that. This was my second stay and I'm looking forward to my next one.

Spent an overnight on a business trip here. Average rooms poor reception (unmanned) and tatty tired bar/restaurant. A bad smell emanating from the stairwell to the bedrooms didnt help. A shame really as the food was quite good. "Day" staff were friendly and helpful but the night porter hadn't a clue and didn't seem to care either. The location is... More

Just back from a week’s holiday in Tramore with my parents, we were fortunate to have been given a one night break from my uncle to the Waters Edge Hotel in Cohb, so we set off on Tuesday it was only just under 2 hour drive from our holiday let. On arrival the booking in was very quick and we... More

Just back from a 2 night stay in the Watersedge. We booked for one night but enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for another night. Our room had an amazing view of the water, we requested a water view and we were lucky enough to get one. Breakfast was gorgeous. Great location right in the centre of the... More

stayed at the Watersedge hotel for a couple of nights, the room was well appointed, with all the usual equipment, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is just 100 yards from centre of Cobh. We dined in the hotel on the first evening and had a very nice meal, the full Irish breakfast was extremely good. The dinning room... More

We chose this hotel based on TA reviews and because it was not in the city of Cork. Cobh is the port town south of that city and the last place that Titanic passengers departed. Our room was on an upper floor and really was on the edge of the water. The only drawback was having the smokers on the... More

Just back from a week end at the Waters Edge. It's a small hotel in Cobh. The bedroom was quite large and spotlessly clean. Good bathroom too with shower inside the bath. Dinner in the hotel was part of our special deal and the food was excellent. Breakfast each day was super. Lovely fresh fruit salad and a full Irish... More
