Just back from a two night stay in the lovely watersedge hotel in Cobh. I think what distinguishes this hotel most is the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I had booked a groupon for my husband's birthday. From the moment, I contacted the hotel to arrange the date to the minute we checked out, the staff went out of their... More

The hotel is in a great location, very central to Cobh and 1 mins walk from the train station. Our room had great views across the harbour. However, I imagine when some of the larger cruise ships are docked this will obscure the view. The general decor of the hotel is good but some of the furniture in the room... More

What can we say about this hotel? From the moment we called to reserve till we walked in the door the staff were just so so friendly. So attentive and friendly but professional enough and relaxed in the one sentence. The location of the hotel is excellent such a nice location just within walking distance of the town and up... We stayed at The Watersedge for one night. We picked the hotel for location, and found it very central for visiting Cobh. Our room was very nice with a shared terrace where we could sit outside and watch the boats, which we thought was very nice. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was excellent. The wifi wasn't very... More

This is a nice botique style hotel right on the 'waters edge' as aptly named. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist at an informal styled antique reception table with a welcoming fire alongside. Our room was spectacular insofar as it had its own veranda right on the water. This was a spring break so I could only envisage how glorious... More

I stayed at the Watersedge in early February. It was a very good value for the money and my room had a view of the sea. It's convenient if you want to see the Titanic museum, which we both enjoyed and is next door to the Emmigration Museum, which was more or less a repeat of the Titanic exhibit, and... More

We came for dinner here a few years ago recommended by fota island hotel were we were staying. We were greeted by ''your late'' and the kitchen is closing so you can have salmon. The salmon arrived raw and we walked out, sadly I haven't found them any more obliging this time. Although some of the staff were lovely, the... More

This is a lovely hotel right on the waterfront and next door to the Cobh heritage center. The food was tasty and not expensive. Breakfast was included in the price and was big.Rooms were large and comfortable but a little bit too warm. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All in all a nice hotel in a good location and a... We were lucky enough to get a beautiful room, room number 1 (which is the suite, although they had locked off the lounge part so basically we got the bedroom off of the suite) Anyways, room was gorgeous, spacious with a lovely bath. Wifi was not great, and unfortunately the cobwebs, dust and dirt left around the place - in... More

We stayed here before Christmas 2014 and had a wonderful weekend. The hotel has a spectacular location on the harbour, as indeed has the whole town of Cobh. We visited the Titanic Experience, Cobh Heritage Centre, St. Colman's Cathedral and took the lovely walk to the Titanic Memorial Garden which overlooks where the Titanic anchored for the last time ever...
