Manuvering the streets of Cobh was a bit much, but the location of the Mountview B&B, just above the Cathedral, and the warmth and vitality of our hostess, Noreen, made it all worthwhile. The room and bed were comfortable; the food delicious. And we even got to appreciate the hills for the exercise we were sadly needing.

Lovely place, on site parking, great breakfast and terrific views, what more can you ask for. Noreen was a great host too. It's a nice walk downhill to the town, not too far, a bit of a trek up the hill but you can stop and admire the cathedral on the way as an excuse for a breather

Arrived in Cobh about 2pm midweek and stopped at Tourist Info for help w B&B. Mary was really helpful and informed us that at that time the only B&B accepting the AL vacation vouchers was Mountain View. Shemade a call, held the lastroomfor us and we went on our way. Noreen was fabulous!! Great hostess, nice room and huge breakfast... More

We had a great night staying at Noreen's, she was just so funny she had us in stitches. There were three of us in our room , a little bit of a squeeze but not a problem. Great breakfast comfy beds.Steep walk to town ship. Very close to Cathedral.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of June. What a lovely place to stay! Sooo comfortable and welcoming in every way. Great hosts, great breakfast, spotlessly clean everywhere and beds and pillows sheer luxury! Location was great and views brilliant! definitely recommend! PS the picture on trip advisor doesn't do this place justice, its much nicer in... More

The Mountview is a solid option for a nice stay in Cobh. The hosts are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable. It's sort of like staying at your grandmother's warm and fuzzy house. The bathroom in one of the rooms is quite small but still OK. Breakfast was good but they usually make you a full Irish breakfast before... More

We stayed here because it was a little out of the way, located in a neat little town, Cobh. The town is way beyond quaint. The B&B was great. Two of the upstairs rooms have a view of the harbor. Hosts were very friendly. We walked to a friendly pub just a short walk down the hill.

We arrived at this lovely B&B a few hours early but the host Noreen said that was no problem and showed us our room. It was a little small but very clean and comfortable. The view from our room was of the cathedral and harbor, very beautiful. The center of town was a 10 min. walk and the was a great little... More

After a very disappointing stay in. Dublin where you could have been in any country we came upon this gem. Noreen was most accommodating. she gave us advise on things to see in Cohb and how to take the train to Cork. She recommended places to eat and allowed us to enjoy the view from her relaxing conservatory. her breakfast... More

Unfortunately, I can't agree with the other reviewers. My husband and I booked ahead with a travel agent for a double room. Upon arrival, we handed our certificate to Noreen only to be told that our room was given away by her husband to a couple who got there before us and did not have any certificate or proof of...
