Our visit to Cobh happened more by accident than design but I’m happy to report that we came upon an area that must be one of Ireland’s secret treasures. Host and hostess for our visit were Frank and Patricia O’Brien who are the proprietors of the mid-sized B&B, Nyali Lodge. The rooms are adequately large, are fresh and clean, are... More

Frank and Patrica were warm welcoming managers. The house is homely and well maintained. The breakfast was tasty and the home baking generous. Great tips on what to see and do in Cobh. We were very happy with our stay. Thanks Mandy

This was the 4 th B & B we stayed at during our tour of Ireland. It was by far the nicest place. Frank and Pat make you feel like family visiting. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. They were larger than the others we had stayed at. They think of every little detail. Pat is an accomplished cook... More

Nyali Lodge was the first B&B on our trip and it was the perfekt beginning. Patricia & Frank are so nice and wonderful hosts. The rooms are lovely and cozy with every equipment you need to feel like home. The highlight was the cooked breakfast, it was better than in a 5* hotel. Thank's very much!

This was a last minute booking but it was far from being a last minute service. Patricia and Frank are truly wonderful hosts and gave us a very warm welcome. Their home is lovely and really comfortable. Patricia's breakfasts need to be experienced. There is an extensive menu and they are a work of art and delicious. Both Patricia and... More

Frank and Patricia were the ultimate gracious hosts and provided us with a great room in their beautiful home. They took the time to chat with us and to give us directions to the town and the ferry. Nyali Lodge is a beautifully maintained and comfortable house and the breakfast served by Patricia was very generous, included home baking and... More

Patricia and Frank accepted us and gave us a room even though it was already rather late. Frank has great knowledge of the city and offered many stories. Patricia prepared the best decorated breakfast we received on the entire trip. We were very happy with our stay and would strongly suggest to anyone.

Im from Spain. Patricia and Frank are nice people. Patricia is one of the greatest chef that I met and Frank explained me all that you need about the town and the history. If i go back, I don't have any doubt to call them and sleep in their beautiful house.

Frank and Patricia were perfect hosts on our recent stay in CobH, so helpful in every way. Frank the local historian has a wealth of local history and made our stay all the more interesting. The accommodation was excellent, clean, spacious and the breakfasts superb. An ideal centre of touring the area, particularly it's easy access to Cork. Will certainly... More
