We stayed one night and had a really nice and clean room with a tiny bathroom that was a little cold and had a heater which helped a lot :) We were welcomed very warm and got offered tea right away. We also met the three dogs which was nice since we left our Cats at home and finally got... More

We stayed two nights in Sean and Therese's warm home. Both Sean and Therese couldn't be more welcoming and kind and what a location right on the Wild Atlantic Trail! If you would like a treat try the Irish breakfast with blood sausage and Sean's homemade bread. If that isn't your cup of tea there are several other delicious choices.... More

Theresa, Sean and their family were fantastic hosts. You could not find a better welcome. We had a family room which was room was lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and I would go back for more of Sean's brown bread! Theresa was very helpful when we wanted to book a restaurant and gave us great tips on... More

In June this year my wife and I went on a walking tour of the Sheep's Head Penninsular in the west of southern Ireland, starting and finishing in Bantry where on each occasion we stayed at Sean and Therese Linehan's Doire Liath bed and breakfast. They could not have been more welcoming or helpful. It was an easy 15-minute walk... More

Thank you Jerry for taking the time to write this very complimentary review. The Sheeps Head and Bantry are beautiful anytime of the year but the sunshine this summer showed the area off at its best. It was our pleasure to welcome lovely people like you both into our home and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. More

We stayed in the B&B for one night only but we came back a couple of days later to bring back some maps of the area that the owners had kindly borrowed us! The room was clean, the breakfast good and the owners really nice! Thanks!

We stayed overnight, 2 adults + 2 children. The house has a perfect room for families, equipped with two single beds and a double bed. After dinner in town and a short walk back up to the house, Sean, Thèrése and their familiy invited us to join a most enjoyable conversation, while our children played with their fine little dogs... It was really lovely to stay in this B&B which is very clean and comfortable in addition to being so near to town, that there’s no requirement to drive or get a taxi. (Ample parking either on the road or in front of house) For me the one thing that made the difference was the great welcome, a pot of... More

We stayed for 4 nights in Bantry and Therese and Sean made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. It's a wonderful B&B and their warmth and kindness made our first trip to Ireland even more special. Whether it was eating the delicious breakfasts, getting good driving directions, being so close to downtown Bantry, or just enjoying the light and fun... More

Our stay with Therese and her family made us feel like coming home to relatives. The kids were great, we were offered tea or,coffee on our arrival and made to,feel, right at home. A lovely long chat with Therese in the morning and a breakfast room which encouraged interaction among the guests started our day perfectly.

The nicest part of running a B$B is meeting and talking with many interesting people like yourselves. It makes the world much smaller and thank you so much for your lovely words, More

We stayed for three nights while in Bantry looking at wedding venues and had an absolutely lovely time. Therese and Sean are very warm hosts and made us feel relaxed and couldn't do enough for us. As well as a nice stay with a great breakfast, the B&B is situated well for exploring Bantry town and Therese and Sean are... More
