We stayed here one night to go to a concert in Bantry, and weren't disappointed. A warm welcome and, as others have noted, a more than excellent breakfast. The table was overflowing with delicious food. The lady of the house even makes her own muesli/granola! She should be in the next Bake-Off show. Highly recommended. The room on the first... More

What more can I say about our host, Maggie. She makes all the food by herself and it is fantastic. The morning we had breakfast my wife and I were amazed at the amount food that Maggie had for us. Great room. Very comfortable.

I spent one night here during a walking trip - Maggie is very welcoming and helpful, and a great cook! The room I stayed in was lovely and quiet : "the Malin", overlooking a beautiful pear tree in the back garden. The house is well set back from the main road (N71) so the passing traffic is not disturbing, but... More

Maggie made a lot of the food herself, as she tried to give us the very best! There were home made scones, jams, cruesli, you name it. Very tasty! It was a pleasure having here around your table? And we had wonderfull beds!

We were made very welcome by Mrs Doyle at this lovely b&b just outside Bantry. Nice room with great view of Bantry Bay. The breakfast was beautifully presented on best china. It was a absolute feast and set us up for the day! Strongly recommended.

Enjoyed a very nice 2 night stay here with the very hospitable Maggie. She was delightful. Fantastic value for money with an amazing breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, freshly baked bread / scones/ cakes. Yummy !! Located just outside the lovely tourist town of Bantry - you could probably walk in if you felt like it - maybe 20... We stayed here for one night during our tour of south west Ireland, but wish we could have stayed longer. We had a lovely room with patio doors to the garden, overlooking Bantry Bay and facing the sunset. Breakfast was amazing with homemade scones, jams, bread and even muesli. There was a lovely yogurt dish with fruit and fruit coulis.... More

Maggie does an impressive breakfast spread with cheeses, yogurt, yogurt parfaits, fruit, homemade bread and scones. Lots of choices in addition to an Irish fry. The location is ideal for touring the Sheep's Head or Beara Peninsulas. The room was clean and ours had a view, over the trees, of Bantry Bay. We also had an entrance to our room... More
