This is an impressive hotel for the price. The rooms are kitted out to a high spec and the sauna/pool area is great (for swimmers bring a swimming cap or buy one there for 2.50). The bar area is great and the food was good and seasonal. Breakfast was average though with some things running low or out completely. But... More

The hotel is lovely and the staff is fabulous. the entertainment on the night was out of this world. His name was Joe Savino and he really was fantastic , he had the whole crowd singing along and it made a wonderful atmosphere and a great night even more special. I wold go see him every night if I lived... More

We stayed at the Maritime for a 2 night mid week break this January. As usual, the hotel was spotless and the room large and extremely comfortable. The bed was enormous!. Breakfast is excellent and large enough to ensure that a very late lunch is sufficient. We enjoyed the pool and gym and I had a great facial. This was... More

Very clean hotel, well decorated. Friendly staff in reception (especially Linda), bit of a strange design and the car park is a disaster. Close to the centre of town and perfect for a night away. More

We stayed in the Maritime hotel recently and not for the first time. We have a young baby and asked for a travel cot and this was provided. Due to our daughters short attention span we chose to eat in the bar. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful.the following morning we had breakfast and the choice... More

Lovely food in the bar and the breakfast was great. Would stay again. The hotel from the outside looks a bit like an office block but the interior is 4 star + More

Good food, nice rooms & very friendly staff; great facilities combined with in-hotel evening entertainment by an excellent ABBA tribute group, made a very pleasant post Christmas break for all the family, some home from abroad. This is one we will certainly all fondly remember. Our group comprised 6 adults & we stayed 2 nights. We had an excellent dinner... More

Stayed in room 127 which is not suitable for a couple - good walk away from reception at the end on long corridor, the room and bed was a lot smaller than the standard room. Unfortunately we didn’t realise the bed was so small till late at night I could touch both sides while lying in the middle and as... More

I gather the reason for this is that the Hotel is still not on mains water three years after opening. Water is being trucked in from Skibbereen. Unbelievable! Beware sludge through the tap and shower followed by water running out so you can't remove. Staff far from helpful when you ask for any help or explanation. More
