My husband and I decided to go to Bantry for a wend away. In comparison to other hotels the interior is quite dark, but I liked it. Check in was quick and the receptionist was friendly. Our room was at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The furnishing of the room and bathroom was beautiful. At breakfast... More

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding ( which was been held in the hotel ). It is right on the main road as you enter Bantry coming from Cork direction so its over looking the harbour. Very close to everything in the town. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The... More

The staff could not have been more obliging when we visited with our two kids. We'd booked a package including breakfast but the restaurant manager offered us an alternative (and more expensive) breakfast more suitable for kids at no-charge. Visited the (excellent) gym and pool and the advisor James on reception there helped me work out a good running route... More

My ancestors were from this area so I knew I wanted to spend some time here. Booked one night while on the go in March and stayed four! Hotel was perfectly located - on the bay & in town. Balcony overlooked the bay, the town and mountains. Room was large & upscale from what I was used to on my... More

Wonderful penthouse room with private balcony, sitting area and well appointed en-suite. Handy underground parking (once you have mastered the technique of the tight entrance!). Reception staff were friendly and efficient, with a simple check in/out. All sadly let down by the restaurant, which fell way below its potential. The once very plush upholstery is literally starting to wear thin.... More

This is a lovely hotel in Bantry - located in the heart of the town with Bantry House and Gardens just behind it. The Hotel has a lovely leisure centre and jacuzzi. We ate breakfast - again really nice. Staff friendly and good service

We stayed at this hotel in Aug 2014 in a one bedroom family suite. The suite consists of a kingsize bedroom with a sitting room which has a pull out bed settee (not the most comfortable but the kids slept fine on it), the rooms are modern, well planned, nicely decorated and spacious. There is also a kitchenette area in... More

We recently stayed with family who wanted to come back to Bantry for a long weekend having been the year before for our wedding. We were Remembered by staff, got a welcome card, had a family dinner for 20 people one evening which was lovely. Breakfasts have always been good, with specials available. And the hotel has everything you need,... More

Very modern, nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and nice. Rooms are very well decorated, modern and clean. Great power shower in bathroom! Good location at end of town. We ate in the hotel restaurant, we had a good meal there and it was good value. The bar was busy on the same night with live music. The breakfast was... More

We spent two days here, visiting family locally. The hotel is conveniently located near the town center and has views over the quays to the mountains beyond. We had two connecting rooms. The overall style is modern, with dark wood furnishings. The bathroom was adequate, though quite cramped for a family of 4. The hotel has a free underground car... More
