My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as part of our honeymoon through Ireland and we loved it. The owners (Charlie and Julia) were incredibly nice and helpful. We needed to get to a ring of Kerry tour and Charlie called multiple tour groups until he found one that we could go on. The scones they made... More

This place was amazing! You really feel like you've stepped back in time with the comforts of today! The owners Charlie and Julia have to be two of the sweetest people I've met. The room I was in was so cute and comfortable.

This area of Ireland is beautiful and noncommercial. Our stay at Seamount was relaxing and comfortable not to mention that the hospitality and food was unsurpassed and delicious. We stayed in Ireland for two weeks and this was our best experience. Charlie and Julia know the history of this peninsula and they were thoughtful about helping us enjoy our stay.... More

I had the pleasure of staying in Seamount in September with a walking group and I cannot rate it highly enough!! As a local put it so eloquently "When you pass through the entrace to Seamount you enter a different world, you leave all your cares outside". The genuine warmth and hospitality of Charlie and Julianne , the comfort of... More

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all. The landlady is very nice and cooks great breakfasts. I would recommend this spot for anyone. In the evening don't miss to go to Eileens pub !

A reservation mix-up at another B&B left us looking for a place to stay in the Bantry area as we made our way north to Dingle. Best accident ever. It was the end of long day and Julia and Charlie McCarthy came to the rescue with warmth and a huge helping of Irish hospitality in a farmhouse about which, Charlie... More

It was like being part of the family, Julia and Charlie couldn't have looked after us better. If you really want peace and calm this is the place to stay. There is no evening meal but a Full Irish breakfast including the black pudding will keep you going for the day.

We stayed here on our walk around the Sheep's Head way. The place is an oasis, and we enjoyed sitting in the garden more than anything! There is no restaurant around here, but Charlie took us over to Arundel's in Ahakista (which by the way is also very good and worth a visit, especially in nice weather). I would have... More

We stayed here as part of our walk around the Sheep's Head peninsula. The house was gorgeous, the rooms very nice (and clean) and the place (including the view) was beautiful. Last, but not least, we were very well taken care of. The only regret was that we were only booked for one night... We will definitely stay here again... More

Seamount farmhouse is a true Irish gem! Our stay here was an experience we will never forget. When you arrive here Julianne and Charlie make you feel as if you have returned from a long absence and welcome you with a warm and gentle embrace. A very homely feeling. The house is surrounded by spectacular scenery. When we were there... More
