We stayed here the first week of September and could not fault anything, our room was spacious and spotless, the owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming, to be able to sit out and have breakfast was wonderful, the food was beautiful and fresh, we would strongly recommend the bridge house, one of the most homely places we stayed... Irish home cooking at it's best! Passed by on the road to Bantry many times and called in this visit in search of Sunday lunch...place was busy, mainly locals and to add flavour a hurling match was playing on tv. Cosy bar area and what I would call a true Irish pub...friendly greeting and seated with menu plus a very... More

We stayed here for one night whilst driving the Wild Atlantic Way. Our room was very good, very clean and very spacious. The bathroom was big and had a bath as well as a very good shower. WiFi was a bit poor during the evening though as the Inn was very busy and there were a lot of people there.... More

Having been working in the area and needed a late deal our company booked us into this little Gem !! We where welcomed into a busy bar as there was a charity event out in the BBQ Area at the side of the building. We was quickly shown the very clean rooms and soon found out the excellent shower. Returning... More

Noreen and staff provide a warm welcome to all who cross the threshold. Great food and drink here. We look forward to returning every year at the start of another summer in Ballylickey. Recommend the fish and chips

Nice small pub/cafe. Lovely food with reasonable prices. Very friendly helpful staff. Very relaxed laid back atmosphere. Nice little sun room to the front where you can enjoy the weather if it's sunny. Car park around the back so you can get off the busy Cork Bantry road.

My first stay in the Bridge House last weekend and would happily visit again! The rooms had everything you need and were immaculate. The staff were so helpful and friendly, really made you feel at home there. The food was delicious, a tasty, filling breakfast and at such a reasonable price. The pub in the Bridge House was great craic,... More

Second visit here when visiting West Cork. A great place for lunch and very friendly staff- could not have been more welcoming. The food was excellent and fresh ingredients and made to order. We had a 'fussy' eater with us and they could not have been more accommodating.

Stayed in the Bridge House for one night but should have booked it for a longer stay! Rooms very clean & spacious. Beds very comfy. It was great just walking down the stairs and arriving into this charming country pub! Staff so friendly and helpful! The live music also made our night! We danced the night away. We went to... After a long drive from Cork towards Bantry, where there is magnificent scenery but almost nowhere to stop for lunch, we stumbled across the Bridge House at exactly the right time. It's on a main road, but nevertheless in a quite remote location. Verdict - simply excellent home-cooked fare at a quite acceptable price - two plates of turkey and... More
