Second visit here when visiting West Cork. A great place for lunch and very friendly staff- could not have been more welcoming. The food was excellent and fresh ingredients and made to order. We had a 'fussy' eater with us and they could not have been more accommodating.

Stayed in the Bridge House for one night but should have booked it for a longer stay! Rooms very clean & spacious. Beds very comfy. It was great just walking down the stairs and arriving into this charming country pub! Staff so friendly and helpful! The live music also made our night! We danced the night away. We went to... More

After a long drive from Cork towards Bantry, where there is magnificent scenery but almost nowhere to stop for lunch, we stumbled across the Bridge House at exactly the right time. It's on a main road, but nevertheless in a quite remote location. Verdict - simply excellent home-cooked fare at a quite acceptable price - two plates of turkey and... More

Whilst on our annual walk from A-B, (a walk commemorating the journey taken by miners, in the 19th century, travelling from Allihies in West Cork to Bunmahon on the Copper Coast in Waterford. A total of 145 miles), we came across this magnificent bar/restaurant/b&b. We really couldn't have expected the terrific welcome we received from Ber and Noreen. The food... More

Staff excellent and could not be more accommodation. Food very good and of high standard. Accommodation clean. Accommodation very conveniently located to Bantry and Glengarriff. Will definetly be back. They also run a courtesy bus which is an excellent service.

Lovely little B and B. The rooms were very clean and had a bathroom ensuite. The staff were really friendly, and I will definitely go back next time I'm in West Cork. Definitely five stars for a B and B. Lovely pub too and a great little beer garden. Definitely coming back!

As we had been in another Bed & Breakfast within an pub sometime before in Quilty, we didn´t expect much warmth and personal atmosphere in a B&B which is located inside a pub-house. But we were extremely positively surprised! The room and bathroom were very clean and cosy and of reasonable price, we were welcomed with some fresh tea, and... More
