I stayed here for 4 nights as I was working in the area. The bedroom was dated, cold and had a bad fusty smell. The lamp shades were stained of god knows what and a bed only fit for the skip. There was only RTE1, RTE2, TV3, 3e, TG4 and RTE+1 on a small tv. The shower has 2 temperatures... More

we stayed at the westlodge last wekend and found it to be a perfet location for touring west cork. the staff were most courteous, friendly and attentive. the room was spacious and clean. dinner was served piping hot and the breakfasts were plentiful.the leisure centre was as good as we have experienced anywhere.

Booked in for a 2 night stay with a friend. We were allocated one of the self catering cottages in the grounds which while absolutely spotless & very well equipped was definitely in need of some modernization especially the bathroom.....everything functioned well but the decor, sanitary ware, shower cubicle etc looked tired & out of date. The tiling especially needs... More

Stayed here recently for a weekend. We booked a family room. The first room we were given was awful. It smelt terrible, the beds sagged in the middle, the handles on the window came off in my hand and I reckon the room was last renovated in 1980. We asked for another room and were given the room next door... More

After arriving in Bantry tired and hungry after a long journey, we where really disappointed in the bedrooms. On arriving to the room which was very dated but that was not the problem. The carpet was very stained and dirty, chairs that you would not sit on, hair dryer that wouldn't work and a kettle that was to be honest... More

We are equally disappointed to see you post such a negative review of our hotel. Myself and several other senior managers were on duty while you stayed with us and can testify how many times one of our bar staff went up to fix your chairs. Yes, our hotel is dated, but is, as we have said several times on... More

My husband and i stayed here recently for 2 nights. It was not an enjoyable experience, the meal in the restaurant left us both with upset stomach! The following morning I was scalded in the antiquated shower which had a mind of its own and could not be regulated. I told the receptionist my complaints on the first morning, and... More

We note your comments regarding your recent stay with us. Our hotel was operating to almost 97% capacity in recent weeks, otherwise we would have moved you to another room. With regards to a screaming baby, that is totally outside our control, as I am sure you are well aware......and it serves no purpose to post a comment to that... More

We stayed in the hotel for three nights from the 12th to the 15th of August. We got a great deal on a family room at €300 for three nights B&B and one evening meal. We picked the hotel for its location and access to the leisure centre but it did have its pros and cons: On the plus side:... More

Stayed here for several nights. Rooms were spotless. Quiet. 15 mind walk into Barry town. Pub grub is 'OK ' dining in What looks like to be an up market restaurant is like a throw back from the 80's. Unimpressed! Gym was very limited. Pool and stream room was very give. Staff helpful.

Many thanks for your comments regarding your recent stay which are greatly appreciated. As a result of feedback over the busy Summer months, we are expanding our bar menu. There are in fact, at least six extra "specials" added onto the bar menu daily, in addition to the regular menu, and they are displayed on the two black boards in... More

We had booked in here for a one night stay over August Bank Holiday weekend. It was my first visit to Bantry. I booked it a week before and made a big mistake of not checking the reviews. We arrived around 7 in the evening, first impressions good in reception for a 3 star. But omg when we saw our... More

Many thanks for your recent review of our hotel, We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the standard of your bedroom.
