Used as base to tour West Cork.Nice room and fabulous breakfasts! Give the black pudding a go! All cooked to perfection. Staff really friendly. Give this place a go! You can visit Mizen Head (a must), Glandore, Baltimore and Union Hall! All close by.

I really can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. You really can see that they take great pride in the place. The food is delicious and all locally sourced. You have to try their seafood platter if you get the chance. Plus it was great to get the opportunity to sample a few local craft... More

I stayed here for one night for work. It was fantastic. It may have taken me a while to find it, but that was due to the weather and the one way system. The food was lovely, the staff were super friendly and my room was gorgeous. The bed was huge. Would love to have stayed a few nights!

Recently stayed here for one night - the staff were helpful and friendly, enjoyed a lovely dinner - well cooked, local produce & generous portions - breakfast equally as good. The rooms were clean and fresh with wifi thorughout the hotel. Not the Ritz but doesn't pretend to be - would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

I used to live in cork and one of my favourite dining venues was The West Cork Hotel . I was passing recently and popped in for a relaxing sunday lunch. I was greeted with a long que and when eventually served I was presented with an plate of bland tepid food. I have such fond memories of this fine... More

Dear PaddyK, Of late the feedback on our food has been very good so I am sorry that you have found this not to be the case recently. The carvery style of service is liked by many for the fact that it is quick and we do have a good following for the carvery, that said we do think that... More

I stayed here on the Saturday after Christmas. The room had been booked some months in advance so I had rang to confirm everything was in order the previous Monday. On arrival the Hotel reception was bright and fresh and very nicely presented. I checked in (single occupancy) at which point I was informed that I was being placed over... More

This hotel is friendliness personified. We were treated as old friends checking in at reception ( even though we haven't stayed here since our honeymoon in 1977.) While the hotel has been brought into the 21st century, the attitude still has the same welcome and hospitality it always had. The room was equipped with a duvet covered queen bed, flat screen...
