The Bridge House B and B is a gateway to wonder where everywhere you turn or glance you find something else to smile about. It really does unlock the playful side and warms the heart. From the smarties by the bedside, the warm electric blanket in the bed, excellent Wi-Fi, the array of interesting reads, to the lavish breakfast table,... More

This B&B is fantastic! The decor is out of this world zany and totally awesome. Mona is a great host and loves what she does. The Harbor House is the only B&B we stayed at over our month long trip that wasn't like all the rest. Worth traveling to Skibbereen just to stay the night here. We would totally come... More

The Bridge House was quite the B & B experience...something that my friends and I agree made our Ireland road trip unforgettable! The Bridge House is quite eclectic filled with what I assume is Mona's life trinkets along the years. The owner Mona is a lovely lady who cooked a nice Irish breakfast at our departure. We only stayed one... More

Although when I first entered Bridge House I felt overpowered by the curiosities that surrounded me, after a few hours that feeling began to diminish. True you have to move cushions and other items which adorn the bedroom and bathroom to make space for your own things, but that took half a minute. Both rooms were clean, there were plenty... More

It is an interesting collection of the Innkeeper's momentos. However, it is supposed to be a place where one can put suitcases, have a place to sit and relax. There are 3 bedrooms, one is en suite, which we had. The other 2 rooms share a spacious bathroom. Every horizontal space is filled with items of a bygone era, from... More

Mona's Guesthouse was one of the most interesting places we stayed in ireland. So much impressions, so much to see and all the little Details. Mona is a very lovely Lady and we had an awesome Breakfast. Definitly a MUST visit, if you travel around South-West Ireland!!!

Takes you back to a different time. A simpler time. Where every hotel had komodo dragons on the roof. Mona, the creator of this incredible idiosyncratic emporium, can't do enough for you. Im sure there is a fascinating history behind this whole operation, but Mona isn't telling!

Unique, friendly and eccentric B&B. Breakfast was both healthy & delicious. Rooms full of quirky paraphernalia & art which give the place a surreal but homely feel. Mona is great to chat to. Go there!
