As a cycle tourer with kids, my view of this place was warped by their Website that clearly states 'Free transport is available to and from the port for backpackers and cyclists', on arrival I requested this service and was just told 'no, we don't do that. You have to book the trip through the campsite, and then the tour... More

We can't find fault with this amazing camp site from the friendliness of the staff to the cleanliness of the facilities to the lovely touches from fresh flowers in the toilets to the various areas to sit and the amazing communal room and talented musicians who come and share their passion. Thank you Mortimer and all that make this a... More

Community spirit of camp enhanced by music room lounge - usually saddo techies on i-pads/pods/phones during the day but musicians in the evenings. Ground is a... More

Just home from Beautiful Kerry, we stayed at Mannix Point for 12 nights. The park is in such a fabulous setting with amazing views. We had such a warm welcome from Mortimer who has been running the Park for 30 years now! Excellent facilities with a Campers kitchen and Campers Lounge with a turf fire to relax in... It's here... The facilities are spotless but best of all are the evenings in the lounge room where all different nationalities meet with their instruments to sing and play. We spent 10... More
